That is a pritty cool picture of parts you got there. For you paint. I am going to paint my bumpers and rock sliders with POR15. It is a automotive paint used for suspenstions and chassis. When it dries is like a ceramic finish and is very stout. I have been using it on 70' Charger. Awesome stuff . But, it is quite expensive. I just thought I would pass it on. It should slid in the rocks pritty well, and not chip or scrape off. |

| Thanks No huge updates but have a couple of additions to the truck thought i would share. I got some free time and was able to make some fenders wells. My Proline Power Stroke Scaler Shocks also arrived and I threw them on right away. I have the R2J truss on the way but I dont think im gonna use it on the honcho, gonna save for my next build i have been planning. It was cold but sunny so i got to run her and took some shots. I have to say this thing drives like a tank. Goes over just about anything i throw at it. Enjoy Last edited by hoyt; 09-06-2011 at 02:18 PM. |

Great sequence shots! I'm liking the rig overall, colour is different to the usual black or green . Your bumper and sliders look great in my opinion. Are the RC4WD steel wheels heavy?? Keep up the great work. |

According to Rc4wd site each wheel weighs 2.53oz so yeah they got some weight to them. I dont have a scale to confirm though. IMO they are a kickass looking wheel and were very easy to use. Thanks I dont have a actual crawler. Started off with the scx-10 and now the honcho. To me the thing crawls great. You can do your trail stuff but still hit the rocks and it will perform. | ||

Im assuming you had to remove the hex nuts to fit the wheels on there, any performance issues?

Well I havent done much work to the truck lately so i though it was time to add a few things. Nothing special just a R2j Truss in the rear to 4 link it up and im going to be adding leafs to the front. 4 link bolted on smoothly. R2j kustoms makes a great truss And the front end torn down to start on the leafs Thats bout all i got for now Last edited by hoyt; 09-06-2011 at 02:22 PM. |
