Broke out the dremel today to start working on my leaf setup. I had to cut out some of my front bumper to make room and take a small piece off the rcbro supplied servo plate. I also painted the leaf brackets black to blend into the axle. If any body knows the best way about getting the red off the rc4wd leafs could ya let me know. I dont know if i can deannodize like the axial green, have to sand off or just paint (worried about chipping or paint peeling off though).

Not much left to do but get the leafs on.

Got the leafs mounted up. They seem to work pretty good but will get the rcbro leafs if they come out.

Then i did some trimming to the axial battery tray and mounted it up on the crossmember by the shocks to lower the CoG. Actually came out very sturdy and holds all the elctronics and battery well. Hooked up my new dx3e and got my winch working on the third channel.

Everything tucked in nice and neat (for me anyways)

Oh and one more shot of the 4 link

Well i got my limiting straps i won from biggin69 in his generous giveaway. Wanted to throw some pictures up for u guys to see them. They are very well made, easy to install and a great cheap ($) scale feature to add to your rig.

Did you get rid of your leaf springs up front?

Well its been a few months since i have worked on the truck but i got re-energized to try out some ideas floating around in my head. Some tube work for the rear, fuel cell and maybe a few other little details. Was also thinking about a little body work but it would require an interior, which i absolutely cringe about cause im not great with the styrene, but will think about that some more as time passes. Who knows if it will be any fawking good but gonna give it a shot.

Some specs as of late:
Winch
Leafs back up front
RC4WD Ultimate scale shocks
proline power stroke shocks (rear)
Limiting straps (rear)
4 link truss
645mg servo on chasis
MIP shafts
35t tekin motor
and im sure im leaving some stuff out

The start for right now

The ultimate scale shocks are super smooth, just a lil oil in them to keep from binding. Worth the money imo.

To be honest i havent even run the leafs on my honcho yet. Was running them on a tuber i had made. The conversion package from rcbros is great and super easy to install. http://cart.rcbros.com/product_info....nversion-p-232
Performance will come from what leaf u get wether its rc4wd reds, tamiya leafs or whatever else can be used. I went with the rc4wd cause its what i got. My only complaint for them would be durability. They get beat up pretty quick and u will have to replace eventually if you hammer your truck a lot. But they do flex nice.

If you are talking about the bumper that comes with the truck i used a dremel.
