Small update, made these up through the holidays, they are tailight brackets for my leds. I also started installing a few hop ups.

Here's how they mount on the back. I think they they will look pretty cool when done. Also tried making a hitch, don't think I like it on this truck though. Got some aluminum hop ups shown too.

I was able to raise my steering a bit, as high as I can go, axle just hits the frame before the steering linkage.

Happy New Year! As most of you know this projects goal was to combine a Wraith with a Scx10 Honcho, also known as a Wroncho. It has turned out pretty good so far and I will state now that I prefer the Honcho body on this truck. But what to do with all the Wraith body parts left over from the kit? Because I used the Wraith cage for my interior, with a little modification to the Wraith body panels, they bolt on as they would on a Wraith. Here is an entirely new look for the truck thats super easy to change back, did it just for fun as I had to remove the Honcho body to get ready for paint.

What parts from the wraith do you have left over?

Everything is the same except for the Wraith panels now combined with the Honcho rear. I may consider painting these pieces if you would like to see it this way. Let me know what body you like better, I vote Honcho.

Really shows the interior though, although my "race" Honcho body will receive a "Wraith" cut on the doors. That's what I'll do next along with a more conventional body(doing 2 bodies).

Tried to create kind of a wheel well look, and left the nose bigger than on the Wraith as well. Different.... limited by the untrimmed lexan on the kit's pieces, best I could do with what I had to work with.

Im gunna have to give my vote to the honcho body. The wraith one looks good just doesn't look like it fits the rest of the truck. It makes the the top half look small compared to the bottom

I'm not feeling the wraith body either, but hey, it had to be done. I did like the way I trimmed the back of the cowl hood though. That is what has been the funnest part of this build, seeing which part from which truck works/looks better. Just wanted to get an honest reaction, Thank you. Hope the Honcho body painted looks ok, the race body will also be a bit unconventional, that's why I'm doing two. But I have this idea in my head on that race body I can't shake, and that's how the truck has evolved, from ideas, some work, some don't. I love the tail lights! Stay tuned.

I can't wait to see it with the painted body. It all looks so great so far how did you make the tail light holders?

It's the back of the Wraith kit manual, not a pit mat. Those tailight holders are actually pretty small. As far as being sponsored or any way affiliated with Axial, not a chance. I am just a regular guy, with a regular job(mechanic) living in Canada. I've got a great hobby shop here, and everything else has come from RPP. I don't think I would be complaining about waiting for the dig unit from Axial if I worked for them. That's what I get for sharing I guess.
