Talking Re: The C.O.A.T. SCX10 build

sorry for the late post.
I cant post picks with my phone
then the stupid computer crashed.

Well some flex shots:

Here is a short video. the water fall is a little ummm, well, flooded. Link:
The scx10 trail honch The waterfall - YouTube

The reason it was so short is because I lost half of my asia tees drive shaft in the water, but luckily i found it in the water.

but i found that a grub skrew doesn't strip out right a way.

It goes in this order:

once the 1.5 mm hex starts slipping switch to:
t6 star head driver then when that starts slipping switch to:
1/16" allen wrench. it works perfect.

thanks for looking

Hey, does anybody know if there is a company that shortens proline 1.9 tsl's in to 1.55 tsl' s?

Haha! well, i got like at least 100 veiws a day, and no one respondes

Ya i looked there, there was only super rovers, and 2 buggy tires. the only reason I ask is because:

1: I dont want to cut my body (1970 f100)
2: I always see these tires on 1:1 rock crawlers/ scalers but all of the companies that make the tire (rc4wd, proline, ect.) are too big. I need tires around 4" OD

Small update:

I need to bend my steering link so it doesnt connect with the diff housings:

I biked down to the dallor store, so i could get some balloons to water proof my receiver:

I'm going back to my grandparents house today, and maybe i will last a little longer that 30 seconds. ill thread lock the whole thing up, so I dont loose my drive shaft again.

Stay tooned

Another Small Update:

Sorry for all of the small updates guys.

I thread locked the asiatees driveshaft.
Look what I found on my body:
That line that goes all the way arouned the cab, is grease off of the spur gear

and I ballooned the reciever, and axial simple light controller:

Hey muddinscx10: is this the foam you used to grease the axles? :

Stay tooned! (maybe ill have a better video up later today)

sorry guys....

no vid, no pics today. I got my truck working at a good 15mph pace, did some donuts in the garage, then tried to jump a curb, went at it wrong, and came down on the rear tires, while they were still under power, and striped a tranny gear:

Dude, this is your brain talking. STFU!

Kidding. Watching your build and probably going to use a few ideas for my loaner build. If it makes you feel any better I bought the same tub of grease at O'Rilieys and pretty much use it only for the same thing. Didn't pack my axles as much but the smell when it gets warm is definitely a recognizeable one.

ADD: Caught your post wondering if anyone is out there. Funny. I wonder the same thing sometimes.

What he said times 50!

I have Robinson Racing gears in 2 of my nitro trucks since '95 and they are still as smooth as butter. Too bad i can't say the same of the shocks.
