UPDATE!!! Sort of...

I did get asia tees to send me new drive shafts!

Took them out of the bag, and started unscrewing the grubs so I could put them on my truck, but one of them decided to strip out. So what do I do? I try to drill it out. Well that didnt go so well:

So what did i do you ask? I took the new and one of the old ones (broken) and switched out the yolks!
started by taking the retainer rings off:

here they are both off:

In with the old, and out with the new!!!

So there you have it! by the way, Asia tees Updated their wriath drive shafts so instead of the carbon fiber pattern, its all black!

We used to get parts from topcad for our store in Germany. They're a little cheaper because they're ship from their Hong Kong locations. We don't buy from them anymore because of complaints from customers, it's just not worth our time to deal with things like that. All the parts are just reject items from Integy, like some scratches here and there or the items made by a softer metal not good enough for US or EU market. If you ask Asiatees, they're tell you the same thing those are all Integy items just ship from Hong Kong. You got to keep in mind those are the 2nds and that's why they are cheaper.

The only reason. Bought them is because they are cheap, and I have no money

What should i buy first?

Changed my mind on the mounting position of the shocks:
Keep in mind , the shocks will only be in the front.

And I sealed the deal! I'm gettin prowlers sometime next week, or the week after! Hopefully they will be better in the snow than flatirons!

you know prowlers are like 1/2" shorter and a bit narrower than flat-irons, right? i dont know if they're going to be better in the snow..

reading through this thread was funny. you're very attention hungry.

Ya... I suppose I am... But the flattys are a little worn out, and they are a little bit too tall. So I figured that Those tires would be cool to have on there, because they look like baja claws!

Thanks For Lookin!

He's 14. Hell, I wish I had that kind of drive at 14. I had a T-Maxx and would get all pissed off and walk away from it when it broke - which was often. Cheers to this kid for sticking with it!

I do have to ask though, with the leaf springs and your need for speed, are you sure the SCX10 is the truck for you?

no harm in gettin prowlers. they do look good. they're very good looking on scale rigs. just hope you didn't get them purely hoping they would perform better than flat-irons. because they wont. but they'll look good!
