I do have to ask though, with the leaf springs and your need for speed, are you sure the SCX10 is the truck for you?

I got it for Christmas, and have been thinkin since I should have gotten a TF2. Dang those things are nice! not sure if that would have been the best either, but it has just about everything I wanted...
haha! my uncle has a T-maxx and it's been sitting in his garage for about 5 years without wheels!

ya... They diffidently look nice! Someone's dad at my school has a Jeep 2-door Wrangler with some baja claws. That thing is nice!

Thanks for looking!

Just don't act like you know everything, yer doing great. You already been asking a lot of questions and I'm surprised you haven't gotten many answers to them. No such thing as a stupid question.
Anybody tell you can use your servo mount as a cms for your servo? There's a thread on it somewhere here...

ya, I had that for a while, but I was trying to improve the clearance when I put 4 link on, but it kinda sucks, and I have just been too lazy.

In fact that's why I'm getting full leafs instead of just in the rear.

Thanks for lookin! I am really happy you guys are looking!

If you haven't gotten the prowlers already, why don't you look into the 4.19" Baja Claws instead? You obviously like the tread pattern, and they rubber compound they are made in is working out to be quite good.

I did. they'll be here by Thursday. The claws are too tall. thats why I gut the prowlers, because I would have gotten tomahawks, and they are the same size.

Big thanks to Manfjourde for the new Prowlers!

I'll mount 'em up when my mom gets home (I left my truck in the back of her car, and forgot to get it out) plus I won't be able to drive it 'til i get the leaf mounts because I busted the rear passenger side link mount.

That's All Folks!

Did you have a three link/panhard at the time? You can get rid of that four link mount and that should solve your clearance issues. Also as hard as you drive...yer probly gonna go back to links...I did amd I don't drive as hard you do.

I would just wait for the mounts, if you do zip tie them, I'd think they'd walk on ya or slide back amd forth across the top of the axles.

only reason I ask is because I don't have a lot of screws, so I'll make some mounts and zip-tie 'em to that (if I have time)

Thanks for lookin!

Thinking about goin IFS on this rig. I just think it would make it a lot easier to deal with the steering.

Oh! and I got the leaf mounts. I'll try to mount the rear leaves tomorrow.

Thanks for looking!

You want some good drive shafts? Get the RC4WD Punisher drive shafts. I've had these for two years straight now, and there still going strong (knock on wood) there 40 dollars a piece but since there nothing but molded steel parts, they'll last you 2+ plus years for sure if you just crawl and bash with them I reckon. I came in second place in a tractor pull style RC event, went well over 50+ lbs with no drive shaft probs in a 1.9 event.
