Man, I would get some of them, but I have almost no money right now, and the slash drive shafts are for like spares. But I need to get my truck running so I can spend more money on it |

Since my brother took his xl5 back, I'm back to the axial ae-2 stock esc. That means I can't use the traxxas 12t motor. Does any one know of a motor above 19t, has obout 10 to maybe 20 mph of speed but still with good torque for crawling? Ya, I'm asking a lot. But I really want it!

On the MIPs you dremel a flat gouge in the center of the pin, then the set screw gets tightened down into the grove you made and locktited in real good. Even if the screw gets a little loose, the pin cant slide out because the end of it is burried in the grove. On the motor, go check out Holmes Hobbies. He has a few high quality motors that will do just what you asked for. | |

Ya, I already checked them out, but they have a price I can't afford right now. See I'm only 14 right now and have no money. I did narrow the motors down to a couple though: 1: Orion 19t 2: traxxas 21t 550 The hobby shop has the Orion 20t in but it's around $35 They have the traxxas 21t in, but they didn't tell me the price. I did see it on eBay for $15 though. Found the Orion 19t for $21 on amazon.com. Last edited by mitchr97; 08-23-2012 at 09:51 AM. |

Went to the rc car shop today! got a couple things: I got 6 traxxas driveshafts ( spares), a robbinson racing idler gear, tamiya leaf springs, and male connectors. thats all for now! im going to make some leaf spring shackles, but i need screws and nuts. I instaled my gear, and one of the drive shafts until I get my driveshaft parts. I am still trying to deside on which motor to get. i am leaning twards the orion, since i turned down the traxxas today. |

Just went through your post. You sure have been busy. I haven't been out much with my first Dingo, but I really do like the build process alot. I tell you how I funded my Dual Dingo build. "EBAY" I decided all the old Video game systems that I had stored away needed to go. Then sold all my racing RC's from the 80's. I do think I sold most at a good time of the year. I just reinvested all back into the rigs, radios, supplies and tools. I know it's tough to get money at your age. I started working after school starting in the 5th grade and have had a job now for 47 years in a row. My last job I was there 30 yrs. you seem to creative with your building, now you need to be with making money. Hobbies can be expensive but they are so much fun. Keep up the good work!

Flexx shotss : and for those Who cant see very well Thats a little ove 6 and a half inches! And for those who dont believe: Sorry for the crappy phone pix. Oh!and by the way, i took the soft spring off of the right shock, I acualy get more flex because the spring doesnt hit the frame. I asked my dad to bring a scale to make sure my truck is ballanced. |

Yaa. Thats where I got the idea. I think I might just keep it this way, uunless I need to limit the travel for the drop bed. So I will probs just use the leafs for a trailer.
