Can you post a pic on the install of the rear of the battery mount? I realize it's just the honcho mount but I only had a first gen scx10 and now have the jk. I don't really want to screw into the radio cover but will if it's the best way. Thanks in advance.

Sure, I used a couple spacers that were in the box. I'll grab some pics later tonight.

I was down in the basement tinkering with the JK.

Since I am still waiting on my Currie axles I decided to throw the second included 4-link mount on the front. I will be running the rig quite a bit while I am off for Christmas and I wanted to get rid of all the slop in the stock 3-link.

I lose body clips constantly, decided to store some spares on the rig

Next I wanted to put a servo winch on the rig. I saw the massive area that was opened up by moving the RX box. I started there...

This is the mount I came up with.

Servo winch installed in the mount.

Top view to see how it's tucked in.

Lastly, I stole a winch from another rig and threw it on the bumper for now. I may change this out for a different winch sooner than later.

Yes yes, they will get replaced when the axles come. I just didn't want to redo the wiring when they came in so I threw it on now.

I have not gotten back to it yet. Thinking that it is a controller issue has me dreading it.

In preparation for the Dinky light kit (http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/dinky...light-set.html) I ordered up a simple LED Yeah Racing light controller from TCScrawlers.com: Yeah Racing Dark Drifter LED Light Kit #LK-0002 - The Crawlers Store LLC

I also ordered an additional white and red. So I'll have two sets of white up front with amber marker lights, then two red sets on the rear (tails and bumper).

I went home last night and was looking for a switch when I ran across something... a LED light controller. Actually, the exact same one I ordered yesterday So I decided to get to work and install it now into the bumpers.

Made a quick mount to hold the controller

Also decided to throw a driver in the rig. We'll see if he "sticks".

Very last project of the night, a camera mount. This will just be thrown on to get a handful of shots here and there, not something that I will want to run very often of course!

It's very versitle and has holes to mount it in several different orientations on top of the cage.

The counter weight (Just resting on the mount here, it screws on the bottom side) is needed to keep the body roll under control. It is actually kind of fun to drive it that way!
