You should have had this in Oklahoma. At least the trip motivated you to get working on it again.

Project for tonight. Finally got hardware for the R2J corner guards.

I also worked on the rear winch. Chino63 sent me one his winch shims tossed it on, along with Lockedup Rc 250lbs winch line. I need to order cone washers and hardware to finish it up.

I had some 4130 .250" .049" wall tubing left over, started to make links. Need to pick up more 8-32 set screws and rod ends

Beefy links. What are you using to tap them? Chuck in a vice and go to town with a hand tap or a drill?

Where do you get your supply? I've been finding it for like $7-8/ft...

Tonight's small project.. strung 20-25' of Lockedup Rc extreme 250lbs winch line.

I also finished up on my lower links. I used Traxxas flanged ball ends at the chassis. No more rattling links.

Lockedup Rc F.I. lockers. I gotta say I really them, for the super tight tolerances, but also they fit the stock ring gear.

When you say they have tight tolerences how tight do you mean? Because I received mine and I had to hammer the axle shafts in the lockers . That in itself is not that bad but the real question is how the hell am I going to get those axle shafts out of the locker . The rear is less of a problem because you can still change the bearings with the axle shafts in the locker. But the fron Axial CVD's need to be removed to acces the bearings front bearings .

Same with mine, I had to tap them in. What I found is that on the axle shafts... It curved part near the flats that need to be sanded down. I just kept test fitting and sanding till they easily slide in and out.

Hopefully this answers your question.
