Thanks for following along, I have a couple of errands to run before I hit the road to Las Vegas for this, ![]() If you have never wheeled the Logandale OHV are just outside of Vegas, do it! SEMA just ended and the Hump and Bump trail run took place there. Hell, I even flopped my crawler there. The rock is insane and for scale adventure with your scx10 or G-Ride of choice, you literally have days of driving!!! I will be wrenching and G6'n over the weekend. ![]() |

![]() Uh OH! I had a boom box like that back in the day. Mine came with the option of linoleum or cardboard. I choose linoleum, it rained to much in St. Louis and break dancing on wet cardboard is like swimming in mash potatoes. Quote:

I always heard the cliche, "too many pokers in the fire". I am still not sure how that applies to me, since multi-tasking is the new mediation. I found that by multi-tasking and completing everything quicker, I had more time to relax. It didn't work very well, because I always have something to do next. I changed my method of meditation. I started wearing Vibram Five Finger shoes. I love them. ![]() Then I started riding the mtb again, it has been an adventure. There are mountains in Nevada. I now know what that little ring in the front is for. Going up, sucks, but the down is OH HELL YEAH! ![]() ![]() But what relaxes me the most his Yoga. Don't laugh. If Diamond Dallas Page can do yoga, then I will try it. |

So off to Las Vegas with the Axial Jeep Wrangler in tow. I watched episode 2 of Rivas Concepts Garage and watched Anthony Rivas cut up an Axial Dingo body for the interior. You can watch it, too; Who better to learn how to cut the lexan body of the Wrangler G6. Anthony Rivas of Rivas Concepts, http://www.facebook.com/#!/RivasConcepts gave me some great tips and these special scissors, but he said was the most important to do was relax. Relax and cut slow. Making a mistake could ruin the body. Cool, I can do this. Relax and mutli-task. I'm damn near a pro at both, so off the hills I go. I kept with the stock body lines. I want to get the body mounted as a roller and test flex an steering. Especailly the rear steering. I had one problem, I left the special scissors, so I stopped at the dollar store and picked up a pair. Here I am relaxing and cutting out the body in my best Vrksasana pose. ![]() ![]() |

The name of the my Axial Jeep Wrangler G6 is... " Yoda MacNasty" Yoda's first name was a RC Soup exclusive. Check out the article by Kid Kaos; http://www.rcsoup.com/2013/11/the-in...r-of-recon-g6/ But as I was sitting there, meditating, it dawned on me. This scissors would have worked better with this damn plastic off. ![]() ![]() Now that the body is cut, I have to decide paint scheme. I have an idea. More on this later. Tomorrow I think it is chassis time! Last edited by DRIVNMF; 11-18-2013 at 11:42 PM. |
