I was going to take it out for it's maiden run....BUT....The XL5 ESC started giving me crap. Then it just gave up the ghost.... So I promptly grabbed my HPI RS4 MT off the shelf and snagged up it's ESC. It's a LRP AI waterproof ESC with reverse. Another cool thing about it is it's small...Like real small. I think it's 1 1/8" X 1 1/8" Well you can see in the pic it's size compared to the servo. The only thing I don't like about it is there's no on/off switch. But other then that I'm ready to go...AGAIN.....I'll give it another shot tomorrow... +1 on the wheels man! Motoworx makes some killer ones and at a great price. I love the raw finish. Awesome rig.

Well I added a driver to the G6 today...It's a mix of shawn michaels body and shirt with captain lou albano's head. I thought he fit the look of the rig....LOL |

I was looking at my truck the other night and thought....I need D ring shackles on the back of that thing. So I made up a set of brackets for just that. They screw in to the holes in the side of the frame. One is just a screw and the other is a nut and bolt. These are just the mock up brackets.better fit and finish one will be made as my hands permit....lol I also made a new hook out of a finishing nail for my winch. |

Hey TINY, a bit late but referencing post #128, you really don't need or want to have a power switch for the esc. It's a problem waiting to happen. I always cut them off.

| Re: TINY's take on a G6 Yeah I know I don't "need" it...BUT I hate taking the body off every time I wanna turn it on..with a switch I can put the battery in at the house and just flip a switch when I get to where I'm running. without a switch I gotta take the body off and plug in the battery and hope I don't drop and loose the clips. for me a switch just works better....So for all of you who run switchless...YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG .......LOL

Yea I like on and off switches too. Like you said you don't have to take off the body saves a lot of trouble even though it's only 4 clips!
