This was just delivered to my desk at work, thanks Corey and RPP for having all these goodies for me to break my wallet on!

Oh, yeah! Downside is this will make a very long work day...

A little top secret closed cell venting...

Treps are stuffed, now to focus on the real work day some

On a boring conference call, so I mocked one up. I think I really like this Trail King\Trepador combo.

Here is a better shot of the box contents.

Under all the parts bags is the Rubi body shell and cage bag.

Wheel vents drilled. There are a few perks to my job. I may be just an IT guy, but I'm an IT guy for an aerospace manufacturer, so I have access to some tools on break!

I need to clean the flashing up, but I'll do that at home tonight with a hobby knife.

It's a slow day here at the office... at least I have something to occupy myself with! The Rubi's cage is one less thing I'll have to do now.

Rims and closed cell foams vented, and all put together. These are by far the easiest bead locks that I have ever setup. there was no fighting with the bead, it all just went together.

Yes, the Gearhead wheels are very quick and easy to assemble....they are good for vented tires because it's no big hassle to get the foams out if they get wet. Now get back to work!!!!!!!! lol

Work on the rig, or work work? LOL

It has been a very slow day in the office... Also not much more I can do with the box of parts here today. I'm putting all the rod ends on the VP links now, and that will about do it until I get home.

Ohhhhhhh, the shiny!

I'm really glad it has been slow today at the office, I have got quite a bit done. Most of what had been completed was on the build list for tonight after work. Now I'll get to focus on the tedious task of shock building and tweaking the links tonight instead!

I came home to 2 more boxes of goodies. This was in the RPP box:

I'll open the Team Brood box after I feed the family.

Oh EddieO, how I love your motors! The Team Brood box had a little surprise in it for me, an extra armature! Now once this rig runs I'll have a day of swapping arms all day to figure out which suits me best. They are both 35t motors.

The one on the left is an LP-T, flat wire on a T armature. This one will have very smooth startup and gobs of torque.

The one on the right is an HHK-GR, big wire on a GR armature. Power, power, and more power is what this guy is about.

With all the goodies unboxed and inventoried, it's time to get a little wrenching done on other parts of the rig now!

Thanks guys!

The front axle is done for now (pending arrival of beef tubes in a couple weeks)

Time to go check on the boy, sounds like he is having bad dreams. Then finish up the rear axle before bed.

And the artwork that is the DLUX rear AR truss, mounted to the complete (minus beef tubes) rear axle!

Now before someone of keen observation can say it... Yes, I know the front diff has the spider pointed down, and the rear up. That is because those little poison spiders are always looking for forward momentum. hahaha!

I'll need to dig up some Jato ends, with the AR's I'm only getting 12" with the scx 12.3 kit. I expected that though and wraith links were back ordered when I placed my order. Easy fix!

And on that note, good night!

To be continued...
