Thank you, yea I was finding that as I was building from scratch that I was missing little pieces here and there. So my wife decided that she would buy me the kit, which was fine for me.. So I almost have enough to build 2 jeeps. The ICON shocks came with the builders kit. So I'll run those for now. White is cool but I'm looking for something unique.

I did get a little further last night. I got the front end under it. Hopefully I won't be working late tonight and I can get home at a decent time so I can get some more done.

should be good to go as long as it's polycarbonate paint or something that is lexan compatible. wouldn't want to see a nice paint job start to flake. it needs to be a flexible paint. SpazStix has a nice pearl orange.

Well its a water based paint that we use here in the body shop. So if it doesn't work ill just repaint it.

Easier said then done.I would just use the proper paint to start with. There are a lot of eye catching colors out there for lexan bodies.Just hate to see you waste an expensive body.

Here's what the SpazStix Orange candy looks like when it's backed with silver, then black.

I used Tamiya metallic Orange on my proline dodge body.I think it looks similar to Jason's Jeep.

my rig is the Gold Jeep XJ. the TJ belongs to a club member. But I agree, the Tamiya metallic orange is very close to the SpazStix candy.

I was doin my research today and the waterborne paint we use at the shop will work. I would use a plastic promoter and a flex additive like we use on raw bumpers and it will stick better then then the lexan paint. when the body flexes just like a car bumper it will not flak or bust the paint.

Yea right! You better clean that work space up before you start losing parts....or maybe I come over and take some so you think you lost them in the mess!!!

Looking good buddy, get that thing soldered up. You're going to be shocked when you test that Team Brood motor!
