Well got a little bit more done today. I actually soldered for the first time, I thought I did pretty good. I also got the body painted, I will have pics of it later on...

I finally got the body painted, well I painted it a couple of weeks ago. I also have it all stickered up, but I don't have a pic of it as of right now. My goal for this weekend is to have it finished up and running. More pics to follow.

TY! I had another color picked out but I couldn't get past the yellow. It reminded me of my 04 Wrangler I used to own... I love the yellow, I'm glad I decided to go with it.

Well got a little more done tonight, stickers and cage. I got some yellow Gear head rings to put on, finish the lights and finish up the electronics. I should have it running under its own power by Sunday.

Looks great but my personal opinion, I would have left the front fender flares on when you cut out the body.

I think it makes the truck. But, I know you wanted it to look like your real truck! LOL!!

Lol yea I thought about leaving them but it looks like my 1.1 without the flares plus it gives you more wheel clearance. Like when I took my flares off of my 1.1 when I went rock crawling, it gave me almost 2 more inches of articulation.

Just noticed you did not mount a steering wheel in your body.Do you have a driver figure planned?

Lol tell you the truth, I forgot about the steering wheel. I think I'm gonna go with a driver but I'm not sure what or who yet.

why is the body so high? I've got mine slammed, tires barely rub at full stuff. You'll be surprised how much better it'll handle.

Yea I still have to relocate the battery. I just had finished it before we went on that trip. I still have to relocate the battery and do some other things.
