An rtr with a ton of upgrades would drive the price too high in my opinion.
I'd rather a RTR with all the options and no body included. For what I do with these rigs, I don't need any crazy electronics. In the two scx10s I have, the stock electronics and a 45T motor do just fine.

I can't wait to cut ends off bumper and wheel openings up flush with hood and bottom of back windows so I can get some 2.2's on there

Really liking the new SCX-10 II platform. It seems greatly improved from the original, and not only that, I have to be honest...it's making the Gelande II look a lot less cool too!

I was wondering when this would start happening. Do they do this with kits or only RTRs?

Happens with race kits from the big manufacturers all the time, can't imagine it won't with the SCX10 II.

I would much rather have this as a kit than a RTR.

Well I think they look cool, I just built a G6 for my daughter and I'm already wanting to do an scx10 II for myself...But I agree with some of the comments on the XJ Body...lots of great little details, but I just don't like the look...will look to be another body on it immediately. And I'm a Jeep guy...

I have a few new pairs that still stink up a room. There can be no equal!

I just noticed Axial's website and pics state that the shocks have a 7mm shock shaft. That be one massive shock shaft for this size truck. I don't think the XMaxx has 7mm shock shafts. Lol. Maybe it's an Easter egg. Do I win a prize?

Has to be a misprint. 7mm shock piston makes sense. No way those shafts are not thicker than the m3 hex screw at the top of the shock

Hey! I drive a chevy and I don't live in a cave.

But when I go offroad I drive the best 4x4 by far. The Land Rover Defender.
