I thought imthatguy's prototypes were cool but those look absolutely amazing. I wish VP would have been quicker to release. I already went another direction with my current SCX10 II.

...maybe on the next build.

Is this an Initial cost savings on both VP's end and the buyer? Or is there some sort of additional strength built in?( Especially in the C-Hubs)
Wouldn't you just buy new axle tubes? Don't see why you'd need an entire new axle?

New Curries just released aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, they're gone. It would've been cool if they made more than 3 sets. Is anyone going to realize that SCX10 II parts and especially axles are a profitable endeavor sooner than later? We get rationed parts like they're making them for the twin hammers or some other not so popular platform. VP should change their slogan to "out of stock".

I'm going with testing time because they've been running these axles since Axial Fest and just got a handful of them made in the last few days. Very thorough 5 months worth of testing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all surprised.

I got my set ordered. Harley said they had alot. they were gone in 20mins. Should have been expected they wouldn't have enough for the demand seeing how people have been waiting months for them.

Wish they made the tubes replaceable!
I imagine if mine get damaged I'll just cut and make my own tubes anyway.

I didn't really care for the looks of the og SCX version. I guess its because of the huge pumpkin...But I may grab a set of these if I can ever catch them in stock.

They were having issues with the new machine that's the delay. They weren't machining for 5 months.
