Oh ok, had me worried for a second lol. Thought you may have a little insight or something.

one of the guys that work for axial brought it out to our corona del mar weekly runs, that thing is sweet, its pretty quick and still crawls with the best of them and the interior in person is real nice, super super super want!

2 questions:

1. http://axialracing.com/ftp/wraith/index.html lists a price of 695$ (at the bottom, beside an MSRP of 365$). Is this a mistake, or is there any logic behind this?

2. some guys from German rockcrawler.de forum say that the links were bent/damaged through Brandons driving session. They really look bent. Was this from wear, or were bent links used (to get more space for the wheels)?

Regards from Germany
Stefan

1. The MSRP is the suggested retail price set by Axial, this is the price most stores use to sell the trucks, and the price you will most likely find one for sale.

Everyone is being charged $350-375 for wraith pre-orders. When I ordered mine at the LHS, I asked them to confirm the total price and they told me they were charging me $375 RTR. I put down $100 deposit, and will pay the balance upon arrival. When I showed him the $695 price online, he laughed and said that it must be a typo.

If you dig around on Axial's or most other sites you will see a list price that is about double the MSRP

The list price for a RTR Honcho is $585
List for a RTR Dingo is $550
List for a Honcho kit is $485

See a trend. List or RRP (recommended retail price) is what the manufacture of the product says SHOULD be what the stores charge but they can sell for a MSRP (manufacture suggested retail price) and still make a good profit. The lowest the store can go is the MAP (minimum advertised price) price but as consumers we do not see that price, but its there to make sure stores dont way under sell others.

You don't get what you don't ask for. I'm just hoping the dig system doesn't turn into the XR-10's cutting brake system (which still isn't out yet). Don't mean to sound like a whiny customer, just excited to get the new products on the rocks as soon as possible

So, if the DIG is an option, why is the RX/TX with the RTR only 2 channel?

Tekin RS: is $195, limitied drag brake, only handles 3S(maybe), no brushed motors.

Mamba Max Pro: $105 (Rpphobby.com), crawler drag break, handles up to 6S, has a cooling fan, does brushed or brushless or castle creations brushless.

MMP FTW!

I am hoping to go with a sensored system for a tiny bit of crawling as well.

EDIT: I AM SHOVING MY FOOT IN MY MOUTH..... I have no idea what I was thinking with my above statement

So a MMP with say a Hyperion Swift 17.5 sensored motor?
