First Wraith build, do you run a straight metal servo horn or use a servo saver at all? It looks like just a servo horn without any saver option. IS this correct? I am going to run a Savox 1256TG servo or maybe swap out my 5955 from my Savage flux.

I don't run servo savers in anything. It's hard on servos but I like a solid feeling steering setup.

Did you plan to review the KIT as I'm trying to set my mind on which one to get, From what I've read, the driveshafts and lower link are upgraded and it get the R35 Ripsaw but anything else to help me choose.

New to R/C and what to put my money right the first time. If I buy a kit, I plan buying a holmes BR-XL esc and torquemaster pro 35T, hacked gt3b radio, need to find which servo to use.

really good thread!!!

For the most part this thread still applies. Except when talking about electronics just get whatever aftermarket stuff is suggested.

The driveshafts are the same but it gets universal joint axle shafts. The tires are upgrades to the R35's and it comes with black seats but no LED system.

Quick question cause I'm hoping to place an order tonight.
Are 2 of these, MIP C-Drive Spline AX10/Scorpion [08103] - $28.99 : CKRC Crawlers, RC Rock Crawlers, equal to this, MIP Spline Center CVD Wraith [11116] - $59.99 : CKRC Crawlers, RC Rock Crawlers?

However, the one for the ax10 in the link above, is only one drive shaft. You'll need to order the full set.

BTW, the ax10 shaft will clear if you do not run the gear cover.

Yes, you will need two, one for each servo.

If your servos are over 300 oz/in each then I would suggest two BEC's or one BEC pro. Otherwise one BEC will likely be fine.

I run one BEC Pro, which is twice as powerful as a normal BEC. There are TONS of ways to wire things, I just throw a couple solutions up there.

I'm not sure when I'll have time. I'll see what I can do. Those diagrams are a pain to make look good.

I know what you mean but I don't like putting it out there unless it looks right.

Im half tempted to start a hate/do not buy strc products thread. I am still having fitment issues and they have ZERO customer support. They have NO phone number and the 2 emails i have sent are going on 2 weeks unanswered. I then googled "strc too short" and it turns out fitment is a comon issue. i dont want others to have my same troubles

does upgrading to larger shocks such as 124mm or 104mm, mean great articulation?
