For me, I moved my box receiver at the rear and ESC in place of box receiver. Lipo just in front of board. I need two extensions, one for servo and one for ESC.

Yes I have CKRC kit, it s easy to install but with a big lipo ( hard case ROAR legal 2S 5000 mah) there is not a lot of room so take 2 minutes to swap lipo....hopefully one lipo, it s 1 h50 min of autonomy....

I'll probably eventually put post in to install body pins in all 4 spots, but for the time being its not too hard to remove the screws.

Half speed half torque? Not really sure what you mean but motor choice is just all personal preference. A 35t will have good torque and decent speed.

There really isn't an exact medium because the two extremes don't really exist. There is no such thing as all the speed but NO torque and vice versa.

Probably the stock motor would be a medium. You have speed and low speed control. You can always go faster, and always go slower from it. But like Harley said, there is no exact medium setup. I bet you could setup the wraith to do 40+ mph and you could also gear it down to a 1 mph top speed.

The stock motor is much less on the torque side. Again I would say 35 turn is a good middle ground.

I m agree, 35 turn is good.
In my case, more to the crawler side, I m happy with a 45 turn but 45 turn + 20x87 + chisel proline = rear C drive broken and front take same direction.
BTW, thank you Harley for the info of MIP C drice... Unfortunatly all my LHS haven t the screw 4x15 so.....I have to wait.

so I have some go fast questions....probably stupid but I have to ask.
I have a lot of on-road gear just sitting around, LRP, Citrix, Tekin-rs, brushless esc's and various motor winds from 13.5 to 21.5's. I was thinking of swapping out the stock stuff for an LRP-SPX and a 17.5, running with 2s batteries since I have a ton of them.

More interested in go fast/trail running than crawling with this Wraith. Would consider changing to 32 pitch tranny gears for strength...how does this compare to the stock motor? I haven't seen any mention of these motors or esc's...hate to spend more money on this to get "crawler" specific running gear when I have this sitting around.

thanks in advance...
