Glad to see I'm not the only deny-er. Seeing your videos of Palmer lake is makin me think I'm going to have to drive down there. Is it a long ways off I-25?

It's only 15 minutes off the I. It's not Palmer lake though, that's a town on the north side of the springs. This is off of academy in the springs. Easiest way from i25 would be to take the woodmen exit, then get on academy south. Drive for about 15 minutes to maizeland, and it's on your right. It's a huge park, and you should be able to find it on google maps pretty easy. The spot I am at most with the wraith is parking area 12 which, after entering the gate from academy/maizeland is a short drive into the park and on the right. It's labeled PA12.

What size wheels and tires are you running on your green honcho? Are they 1.9s or 2.2s? They look big compared the the "standard" scx10 wheel/tire.

The are 1.9's. The wheels are the standard axial 8 hole stockers just painted black. The tires are baja claws from rc4wd. If you look at my 2 door jk thread, I just put those tires on there with new dick cepek wheels. All are 1.9. They do make them in 2.2 though.

Thanks, yeah I am going to do a jk with 2.2's and 1.9's. The 2.2 one will just be mounted on an existing honcho, while the other is going to be built from scratch. I have the frame, axles and wheels for it. Gonna put a smaller r2 tranny in there and holmes electronics.

Nice, your a mad man! LOL Cant wait to see the progress. Im thinking about buying a used JK body off a member here and repainting it etc. I cant wait to see your progress. Do the 2.2s fit without rubbing? or do you have to trim some body parts?

There might be some rubbing I think it will depend on how I mount it. I cut the front bumper off of them. I am going to use a dh fabrication jk bumper like the one on my 2 door jeep on the one I am building from scratch. The other has the Honcho bumper already, but I might switch it out too. The dh fab bumpers just look perfect on the jeeps.

New vanquish wheels showed up yesterday. Slw v2 respun. Didn't get a chance to mess with them yet. Leaving work early today, so I will mount them up then.

Heading out to do that now. Took the jeep out for a little fun, and broke the rear driveshaft. Good thing for spares. I see MIPS in it's future.

Ok time for an update. I decided to hold off on those vp wheels and switch to something else when release. I have also decided to swap out the panels I had on there for a pro-line jk. I am also swapping the vp diff covers for ARB ones from rc4wd.
I need to shoot paint on the body, but you get the idea.

That is a bunch of axial rigs

I have 3 myself and might consider the exo once it's released. That or an SC10 4x4. Those are still very scale and just need some interior and wheel wells to be awesome.
