Nooo, the stuff I told you to order has an adhesive back to put on lexan. thats what I used to do.

When we used to paint we used a clear blue, but it was hit or miss because the paint somethimes comes out blotchy.

Hell you can use clear plastic if ya want..

It is adhesive. I just wasnt thinking straight earlier. I swear I'm losing memory and brain mass everyday. This week has been especially bad. I just need to order some more now that I know what color I want. These were basically just samples that were 3"x4". It's all good, I'll eat some smart pills tomorrow.

Yeah yeah, Norm knows best. That's what I'll name my apparent brain tumor that kicks in from time to time.
Worst part is I had just used the tint on your lens, utilizing the adhesive......... Holy shit what a dummy I am. Hahaha

Made all new links today. The uppers are machined to length 5mm Axial aluminum tube. The lowers are solid 7mm 6061 aluminum. I decided to try something to keep with the scale looks and also strength. The axle end has the metal RC4WD rod ends with the o-ring mod. The chassis end has Revo rod ends for strength and since you don't really see them that much. If it doesn't pan out, it's an easy fix to switch to Revo ends all the way around.

Also started on the hood.

I don't really want a plain flat hood. I will either do an engine cage like on the 1:1

Or have a custom hood built with a small cowl.

Just got these beasts in. Titanium Big Boi shafts. Creeperbob handled the job for me. They don't have the stupid neck down like factory, plus they are grade 5. These along with the VP front shafts should now help the Titan 60s live up to their full potential.

How can I get my hands on a pair of those axle shafts for my rear wraith axle?

Hit up creeperbob(CBRB FAB) he has a thread in the scale accessories vendor section I think, or just search his name. These are for my custom housing, but he did say that he had a set of Wraith shafts so he could make some for the stock housings.

I did start working on the interior tonight. I'm no styrene master but promise it will look good in the end. The seats will be laid back a bit like in the 1:1

Also got some pics of the finished 1:1 finally

And some more reference pics

Made some more progress on the interior. Dash and center console will stay blue, the rest will be flat black. Steering column pulls out so that I can remove the interior but locks in place when installed. Switches and radio are also 3d but hard to see in pics.

Props

Thank you, I'm just trying to keep up at this point.

Front half of interior is done unless someone has something to add.
