Lots of places have them. I didn't find them listed for the Wraith, I just looked for the teeth & pitch I wanted. I bought the Traxxas #3957 spur gear 56T, 32P and the Robinson Racing #1714 pinion 14T, 32P.

Alright Harley, your wealth of knowledge is incredible......I purchase a wraih RTR about a month ago. On day one I smoked the 20t motor, now running a 27t from axial as a replacement. But that one is probably going to be short lived.

I'm looking to see what motor can I run on the stock ESC while saving up for the Tekin Pro 3300 combo. Im planning on doing the MMP/Pro4 3300 combo once i have done some necessary upgrades to the axles and gears. Looking for similar speed or a tad bit faster than stock 20t. I usually run a ONYX 2S Lipo. Also, suggested gearing for this?

You aren't going to get faster until you go brushless. I would suggest keeping with a 27t and going to 3s.regear a little lower to keep heat down.

The stock ESC can handle that? What gearing? 5.1?

Yes, just add a BEC. Gear in the 5.5:1 range.

whats the lowest pinion one can use with the 56t 32p spur ? im looking into gearing lower the redline tekin 13.5 with the 12.5mm high torque rotor and mmp i have on the way .

also Harley, could you recommend the settings as im not to keen to destroy the stock transmission instantly. i know i need to change the gears and shafts , but i want to tame it down for starting, then replace stuff as it breaks. im running on 2s .

You should be able to find a 10t pinion and that should fit.

Settings are pretty easy, don't over think them. As for helping the trans, run startup power on low.

I'm getting a Wraith kit soon and I'm tight on funds. Was thinking of using my 15t motor from my Blitz and either the ESC as well or getting a Castle SV3. I'm looking to be somewhere in the middle as far as performance. I wanna be able to crawl but also bash. Just curious if this would be too high of a turn motor or if not, what gearing setup I would need to use.

That motor won't work for long. Read the first page of this thread at the very least.

I'm rebuilding my Wraith and just picked up a new Brood 35T. I'm also going with 32p gears. I will be running 3S also. I've never run 32p gears but looking at gear ratios, I was considering 54 or 56/12. Will the 4.5:1 be a good ratio on 3s to keep some wheel speed and still crawl?

Battery for a stock motor? I'm looking at 2s batteries at Hobby King. 5200 30c OR 5000 2s2p (??) 40c.

I have no idea about batteries. I was told to go for a 2s 5000mah battery. 30-40c. But what is the 2s2p?

Either of those packs would be fine. Go with the cheaper of the two.

The 2s2p stands for 2 cells in parallel and then 2 in series. So there would be a total of 4 cells in that pack even though it's still called a 2 cell. The term 2 cell is referring to the 2 packs in series, therefore 2s.

I just read that a smaller c would be better for crawling? like 15-20?

That's not correct. You don't always need high C ratings but it is not "better" to have low C ratings.
