I assumed, just thought the two long rods might be new uppers. Interesting things that you do...

Default Sway Cool

The sway bar arms are Ti and the brackets and bar guides are heavenly75. I was going to make the guides out of Ti but changed my mind. Hopefully I can finish it today.

Mounting brackets.

Ti rod for the risers that attach the arms to the axle.

This is going to be cool...if it works.

Default Sway V1 Done

Works well. Still need to put it through its paces. V2 arms drawn. Hope to knock them out this week. Overall I like the performance. I couldn't tap Ti so I cranked out 7075 arms.

Default Let's try this again, again...V3 sway bar arms

I really didn't like the first iterations of my sway bar arms for several reasons. These suit me better. I'm sure they are overkill (7075) but I'll put them through the paces before putting them on a diet.

I like that they match my shock upper mounts.

The seats are out for the install process. I still haven't driven it properly with a bar...yet. Hope to soon.

Update!

Go buy a rear sway bar for your Wraith here now. You won't regret it. I can not believe how much better the rig handles on fast flat ground and crawling/climbing. It puts down traction so much better. Run the softest springs you can get away with for your ride height and start there. My tires will pay the price...and did yesterday.

Cosmetic weight reduction.

I took 0.050" off of the trailing end of the arms where the links mount. This allowed the top of the links to move inward on the axle and stand vertically. I also shortened the links by 0.1" to parallel the arms with the ground at ride height. Like Erik says, square and straight.

This tire compound is very soft. Good in some cases but not in others. Hence the large material-missing hole from yesterday's run.

Nothing a little bit of a silver Voodoo comp tire can't fix.

Looks great Joel! I appreciate your dedication and love for all aspects of the hobby!

Once people look past the stereotype that a sway bar is for limiting flex they will then be able to use one and tune with it. It will just take time to get people to understand. All you really have to do is run a proper setup for 5 sec and you see a huge gain.

What is the name for that "10 flute countersink" in your picture above?

Thank you sir for your assistance and for tech that works well and looks good.

I can't remember what it's called. My machinist knowledge is limited to drill bit and end mill. I'll find out for you.

I picked these up for the height as well. Compound wears very fast. Very soft and very grippy though. My cut pattern improved them a lot but also shortened their lives further. TSLs last a lot longer and work well with the cut pattern I tried. Cut your TSL's and try them before you drop bank on these. You may change your mind. But if you just want tall, get these. You'll like them. I'll run them into the ground...literally. Hope this helps.
