I see u have front droop level 3 plates, how did you manage not to cut out the hood to allow the shocks plates to find their place through the hood?

PM'd ---

I have some custom spring loaded titanium hood pins that actually slide up through the hood and are pulled back tight by the springs.
I plan on shaving down the top of the shock mounts though, because they do press on the hood a good bit and make it not sit level.

Edit: I DO NOT recommend the C K RC kit.

Edit: Apparently C K RC is a censored word here.... ?

Pay your money to them, order from them a few times and see if you get whats advertissed or what you ordered. Can be hit and miss... folowup service can be hit and miss at times too.

So I've read.
If I ever did want anything from them I would make sure I was ordering from someone OTHER than them.

Harley's stainless hardware set came today. I only ordered on Tuesday - Three days!

Seems like very high quality hardware.
Big thanks to Harley for the quick shipping.

If you've been following Harley's Ultra4 custom build you'll know just how talented the guy is.
He is sending me his spare set of custom rear shock mounts to try in my wraith. I'm kinda blown away.

Finally got the rock beasts mounted on some axial 8 hole bead locks.

I will call this one: "Pride Rock."

Picked up some axial HD axle gear sets.
Now just need to get a couple VP lockers as I am not going to use the stock lockers.... Why bother?

In the past few months the following has occurred:

Got electrically setup to safely run 3S on the stock axial esc.
Picked up a set of 6 RC4WD BL-5 beadlocks with tons of spare rings for $45 from a local guy.

Right now I am getting all setup to go to Axialfest in 3 weeks.
The local scaler club is going to make quite a showing.

Parts going in this week:
GMade 103mm XD piggybacks on the rear.
TZiWorld Beefy winch.
Heyok 4A Relay winch controller to run the winch on 3S power.
Custom made (by me) rear firewall/electronics bay. (Goes behind the seats.)
Dinky drop box going in.
Some pro-line and homemade scale accessories.

Wow I have some updating to do....

Axialfest went great.
No major breakage other than a defective winch controller which was promptly taken care of under warranty by RPP Hobby onsite.

I finished 2nd on the first stage of the 2.2 Adventurist class.
Running in the Terra-X I ripped both front tires off one bead each.
Took 3+ hours to clean the thin silt based mud from the Terra-X off my rig.
Started the 2nd stage 45 minutes late due to a failed Tekin FXR on/off switch which left me powerless at the start line.
Bypassed the switch (I'll never run an ESC on/off switch again!) and made up so much time I passed a massive group of 1.9/2.2 adventurist drivers then thoughtI was lost as I didn't see another competitor for 20+ minutes along the course.
The Saturday night course was short.
Not sure where I ended up with the 2nd and third stages.
I didn't have any time to swap motors and gearing for the terra-x and after being so slow in the first heat I scratched even attempting to run the second.

Still waiting for official results posting .... if ever.

My most awesome LHS scored a couple Spektrum replacement antennas.

These are hard to come by apparently.

They came in the Chinese manufacturers bag with Inpaq part number.....

Hmmmmmm.
