Didn't get video today so maybe tomorrow but I did shave the edges of the tires tonight and it really softens them up nicely but not too much.

here are the pics of the tires shaved, this is just round 1 of shaving further shaving will be considered after more driving and tuning its already gives the tires a nicer rounder look to them, plus as seen above it keeps the lugs out of the links. |

testing has revealed that the screws holding the links to the vp steering arms cant hold up to the abuse. The single sheer setup is putting too much stress on the screw and all the vp links dont allow for much give or flex so im thinking about going to stock knuckles to have the double shear setup and see if the plastic knuckles can give a little and take a little beating. id rather break a knuckle once every 5-6 packs then bend the screws and have the front end all jacked up every run. im gonna try some different screws but so far the axail screws bent and so did an rc screws ss and so did one of harley's screws i might have an Xray 12.9 grade screw to try i just need to go dig around. all in all i think the combined length of two revo ends is just too much for single shear setup. |

Power was out for 5days thanks to our little snow we got, so between that, having to work everyday since christmas, and falling down some icy stairs, I havent had any time to work on it. But tomorrow I'm gonna see about knocking out the body mounts and swapping the knuckles around. I also yanked the tires off tonight in exchange for some cut boggers so I can Do some mud truck hill showing tomorrow it looks wild with the boggers.

She sure does fly good, very controllable. After I shot this video I learned that the bounce upon landing is nice and flat if I land with the front tires just a hair higher than the rear. It recovers much faster landing with this attitude. Looking forward to getting some video of it making laps around a track. |

Gave it a good beating today and now it's time to strip it down and first fix and then finish the chassis. It took a thrashing today and the unfinished frame fell victim to my lack of mercy. Looking forward to Josh's video from today. It got pretty wild. |
