Well, I could understand that for a class one or two, but we are talking about a wraith that has as much or more performance than scale! Plus the larger prolines that everyone's seems to run don't look any more scale to me than the bigbores. Bigbores are a wonderful shock, especially for a bigger platform such as the wraith. I don't have any knowledge with the prolines so I was wondering if I was missing something on the performance end!

I like Big Bores, run them on my comp rigs. However I like the adjustability and dampening abilities that the dual rate springs offer in combination with the large diameter piston on the Prolines.

The Gmades have the adjustable reservoir which I would like to try, that is why I have them as possibilities.

Will the knuckle weights work on stock axles?

There are multiple knuckle weight systems. I am not 100% sure if any of them are designed for stock axles though. I think all of them utilize Vanquish knuckles. I could be wrong though. The Vanquish knuckles are designed for the XR10 style knuckles but I have modified my set for Wraith knuckles.

I may also look into the systems by other like RCBro's.

You should be able to use knuckle weights with the stock knuckles if you put a spacer between the top of the steering arm and the weight holder.

With the versions like the RCBros and such that is true, however the VP versions are much more "fit" to the shape of the knuckle.

Blue Monkey does have knuckle weights for the stock Wraith and SCX10 knuckles as well as ones for VP. Have no experience with them..just happened to see them the other day.

I have ran the stock Wraith case with lots of luck, it's not something you really HAVE to change.

When I built my fully bulletproof transmission I changed to a SCX style transmission case because of the outputs I was using, so while I was at it I upgraded to aluminum. It's easier to strip the screws in the plastic cases also. So sometimes it's nice to just upgrade to aluminum.

When you are REALLY pushing the limits of power in these trucks, sometimes it's nice to know that your trans case isn't going to deflect and blow up any gears.

True. I was thinking about the ncd weight holders that I have. I don't really like the vp weights since the aren't as adjustable.

For a comp rig that makes sense, but for a wraith the extra weight available on the VP's is a pretty nice advantage. I'm looking at the RCBro's now. I might look into adding them down the road.

Video is uploaded and will be live at midnight. While I was bored in a hotel this week I worked on a new intro. We'll see how that goes over.
