Do you have any plans of adding lights to this wraith?

I touched a pair of those stock bfg tires. Wow they are very stiff rubber! They do have sharp edges because it's such a hard rubber.

Edit. We were on rough desert sand stone and they did well. Didn't do so well on dirt, though.

How long of a drag strip did you have setup in the parking lot?

Yes, at some point I'll definitely add some lighting. It will not be until further down the road though. I will be going with a 5" Vanquish Rigid lightbar and a 1" bar up front.

They are very stiff and do stuggle on dusty situations especially. Yesterday I was at Goat Hill for the Adventure Challenge. Again, being light weight really adds to the performance. I am still ready for a set of sticky tires, but I really may switch to a sticky version of these tires when they come in.

I didn't measure it. Just ran the same length each time (from curb to that parking line).

Yup, I spent some time recording quite a bit of one of my laps. It will be mixed in with the video from this week's upgrade.

I am still out of town for work (next couple weeks) so I am limited on my abilities to do my normal routine.

This week I somewhat leapfrogged on my format from last week's interview with Holmes. I decided to do a phone interview with the designer and manufacturer of this weeks upgrade. The parts will be arriving TOMORROW if I want to put the video up at midnight like I have been doing that means I won't have any install footage. But it's not that huge of a deal as you guys have seen me turn wrenches enough.

Looking forward to hearing what you guys think of hearing from the vendors themselves rather than just me talking about the parts. I always like talking with others in the hobby who put in the time and effort to bring us cool parts!

I'm pretty excited about this week's upgrades

awesome thread Harley. Hadn't checked the Wraith section for some time but feel sorry about it allready. Now since I expect a Spyder to be at my doorstep very soon. This thread is a must read for me. Allready made it to page 3 But have one question, maybe answered later on in the thread, sorry then for asking. But can the stock speed control en motor handle 3s? Thought they could only handle 2s. If I just have to add a BEC for the servo and be able to run 3s then, that would be.....well....awesome
Keep up the good work Harley!! Enjoying it!!

That's correct, throw a BEC in and the stock ESC is set to go on 3s. This truck has never seen anything but a 3s pack hooked up to it

Check out the couple of stickies I have at the top of this forum. The first page of each one is about all you need to read to have a really good start on the knowing the important info about a Wraith.

Cut it off and soldered the ends of the wires together.

I'm working on the final cut now. I have to make a decision, we'll see how it goes, trying to get it up by midnight.
