Will you be adding a winch to this wraith? What is the difference between the servo you use in this wraith vs your hit and run build? The G6 footage was great.

You know what, I hadn't really thought about it. That's an excellent point and something I will add to the list. I will likely try and get another TZIworld winch because I love that thing!

The BLS157 is more powerful and has a stronger gear material. If I were ever to damage the gears in this servo I would upgrade the gears to the BLS157 gears.

I like forward to seeing how you fit a winch and the CMS on this wraith. What about adding some DMG front shock hoops also? I bet he would do a phone interview plus those look really sweet on the wraith. Thanks for info on the servo my stock one doesnt have enough power to steer my wraith after adding a Vanquish stage 1 kit and Ackerman Steering Arms with upgrades vanquish steering links.

DMG is actually local to me, I can just drive to his house

I will likely incorporate a HD front bumper setup from the DMG. I think my CMS/Winch setup would be very similar to my Hit & Run. I don't think I would need to do much modification to use that same configuration.

Is there a reason you would do a cms and not a light bar? Aren't they both for aesthetics?

The CMS and panhard are still performance pieces in my mind. While it is a piece that is mainly used to change the aesthetics but is still a performance piece. It changes the suspension style and actions even though the change in performance will be very little afterwards.

And don't get me wrong, I'll add lighting but it just won't effect the budget because I consider it only cosmetic.

CMS Vanquish $16.99

Motor Plate Super Shafty $24.00
Panhard Vanquish $25.99
Foams Crawler Innovations $27.90
Trans Gears Hot Racing $29.00

Knuckles Vanquish $37.49

Trans Case Vanquish $41.99

Upper Links Vanquish Suspension $49.98
Tires Pitbull RB2 $55.90
Outputs Super Shafty $58.00
Shocks Gmade 93mm $59.99

Other axle related things like link mounts, bearing caps, diff covers, trusses have been omitted in expectation of someday running Curries.
Just curious why 93mm shocks? I'm running blue monkey stage 2 single shock rear trailing arms and vanquish front (uppers/lowers) and the blue monkey front droop kit with 103mm gmades. Should I go with a shorter shock? Sorry to thread jack -__-

While that isn't a set in stone decision, I have had a lot of luck with 3.5" shocks in the past. For now that is really just a place holder. I am not sure I will go with those shocks at all.

Agreed on the shock length, 3.5" is great length for the Wraith.

When you did the fastback setup with lower plastic links, did you use the ball ends in them? From what I can see, you just sandwiched them with the two cage parts and screwed it back together?

What made you pick the Gmade or the proline shocks?

A light bar increases night time performance doesn't it?

The Gmades are cheaper is all. I actually HAVE the Prolines at home though and wouldn't have to buy them. The Gmades would effect the budget less but would effect my REAL budget much more

That list is by no means final. That is just stuff I have thrown in there so I can work with prices and time lines.

I get the argument, but...

Like I said, I'll add lights but they go in the freebie category

Yeah it was Week 5 when I did it. I did use the ball ends and I explained why I did it. I trimmed the cage to account for the difference in thickness.

Why would you use prolines or Gmade over bigbores?

Big bores don't have any place on a scale rig.
