Hobby shop owner gave me a set of 164mm hpi shocks for 15 bucks so I said what the heck. Built a gusset on My cage and mounted them there. Did one test run on wet rocks and am undecided. Also mounted the boggers to relive a little pressure on the 6.0 foams

quick vid with the 164mm shockls on board.

a year ago as a wraith this thing was tipping over all over the place. both driving and vehicle have seen massive tuning

if anyones curious that's a savox 1268 on 6 volts wich is only about 300oz

Missing with the camera. Its snowing so no real need it testing on slick rock.

Picked up some rc4wd spark shocks

Threw some stiffer springs I had been n them

These are all metal shocks 110mm. You wouldn't believe how smooth they are. Best shocks if owned so far even compared to gtrs

16oz keystone is just right for articulation and has become what my standerd is.

The ball links are so awesome compared to rubber mounted. Would buy a set of pro lines if they were built like this

There are several metal ball ends that insert into the top of a Proline shock to give you that same designs.

Good to know. Can you then run the pro line shock body on the axle?.

I may run some jato ends on my shocks to increase ride height a little. Also thinking about 80w oil in the rear and 60 front or maybe 80 all around to slow the shocks down a little..

The stock axial purple springs work very well on these shocks I'm now running them on all four corners the red tmax springs were to springy for my liking

So lately I've had a little bit of money to blow. Had big plans to get a MMP which is only a 65 amp ESC compared to my huge 150 amp ESC. Would shed a lot of weight and gain castles semi sensored as the call it and tons of program ability. Thought I'd get s rc4wd front axle and VP 3d did cover.

Then I finally came to my senses and decided its not broke and is performing better then ever so I got back to my roots a bought a 50 class edge 540. All said and down this plane will cost about 400 bucks and that includes a 100 dollar castle ESC.

Here's the wraith crawler checking her out.

So my boggers were pretty warn and I caved to the pit bull band wagon.

First impressions are they are to wide for the cl foams, heitgh seems sot on with tunning rings removed. Looks wise they are just to wide.

But I pulled this line that I was unable to do with the boggers.

Kind of a climb into side hill step down.

Couple photos next to the boggers both wearing the same CI foams.

Pits have a lot more sidewall action then the boggers. I may

It be awhile before I can test them.
Looks wise I'm not digging them but I'll let that sludecsince there already showing some improvements in performance

I've decided its time to gather some real on bored info.

I've picked this up for a air project but have decided to give it a go on the crawler to see what kinda amps and watts I'm pulling while crawling.

I love these controllers to death. If it works out I may try a edge 75amp and see if castle can set me up with some kinda drag brake.

These controllers may not work for shit on the ground. But the castle 1/5 ESC is an adapted air controller.

Well see

Okay so I finally got my first set of bead locks and grabbed some tsls because the pits don't do it for me. And off course since I messed up the order from lockedup Rc I'll be getting the wheels later after Christmas. Lockedup is awesome and helped me figure out my order at about 8 a few nights ago.

A teaser with the ring sitting in a tsl. Also have a set of dual stage pro line memory foams on the way.

Pitts will continue to be mounted on the axial 8 holes with 6.0 CI foams. Planning to do some head to head tire testing. Had planned on CI foams in the tsls but that wont happen. So well not have a true true tire shootout.

I'll picture bomb tsls on the new wheels later so far this tire and wheel combo is making me tingly all over

Man what a difrence these rings make on the axial 8 hole bead locks.

Lockedup Rc scale bolts really add to the looks. Can't wait for the lockedrc iconic 8l wheels to get here and might order another set of rings for the axial s.

And man the tsl's are to die for

good photos of the lockedup rings on axial 8 hole beadlocks. pure awesomeness

photos of the rings mounted on lockedup rc iconic 8l beadlock wheels in the next week or so

I twisted the drive flange off the short side universal tried welding it and reshaping but it didn't hold up.

So I worked on the frame. Starting to feel that its coming together but is slightly heavy coming in at 6.75 as pictured.

This framing is starting to fall into place. I like the looks and its over functional and is way lighter then what I was at with the stock wraith frame and its adjustable with a little welding. Center of gravity is low and crawls awesome. Took me almost a full year but I now feel I'm pretty happy with it..

In this photo its sitting at 7lbs with battery on board.

I still have some adjustments to do on the front but for now I'll live with it.

This photo comes after rewelding and extending the front short side inner shaft. Was about to order a set of universals when I thought of a way to fix Furtwangler dated drive flange.

Traded into a little firepower. I've got very little into this loaded. Been watching for one for awhile I could never afford one so watched for the right trade

Okay not that anyone cares but here's my recent updates

Cut my resume tsl. The tsl is my favorite tire but even it couldn't survive the knife in the 1:1 world I mod everything and this is no difrent

I first practiced on the pits they are now running cut and with memory foams and crawl awesome but I don't like them way to wide I'd rather have two sets of tsls or claws

They don't get run very often. But would if they were a difrent tire and to be honest they do awesome. Just not for me.

In this photo the short shaft is broken. Made for a shitty few running but it got through. Conditions here are wet.

This was the fix. The ear that goes in the spool was about twice twisted off. I left the ear twisted welded it then shaped it. I have literally no money so if my welder might be able to fix it I'll attempt it. And yeah the axle broke on my first weld.

The last run

Right now there's many reason I'm drawning in debt but anothere was the lift pump went out in my truck and holding to my only mod what brakes I installed a raptor fuel system. The stock lift pump is junk.

I need to fan my own pump bracket I feel sick going down the red knowing if I run something over I could yank the fuel system off my truck

That's about all that's been going on.

Ohhh right now I'm having a beer and still working on finishing the last tsl

Last few runs

So I've been fighting a short shaft breakage issue finally just replaced it with zond 3/16 rod I tempered and ground a drive flange in.

Cut my Pitts again
Thisctimecremoved the small center lugs

Liked them enough after cutting this time I mounted them on my good wheels

The freaking tear up the dirt

Got power structure strokes. Awesome shocks but out of the 2 I bought one is leaking grrrrr

Off course these are modded for jato ball links fixed mounts suck on crawlers.

Been building a pair of 6" paddles in perpetration for sand season

Have a body ran it long enough to tear it off in a few minutes

That's it. Have another 2100 kV 1/8 motor on the way so I can fly over the rocks and plain out on the sand

Was lucky enough to receive a kms k3 winch direct from kms. Also spent some time talking on the phone and Robert is one great guy

Will most like start a new frame around this winch

Ran in the sand. Landed a big jump and broke the metal steering Arms max shaft and rod end

Cut out some new steering arms
