It was hard for me to swallow the cost of a nice servo for my Wraith, but once you do it, you'll never go back. I too love my Gear Head wheels, easiest bead locks ever. Build is looking good dude.

I've had that 1218 on the Honcho for quite a while and its been doing pretty good. We'll see how it holds up to the Wraith.

When I bought it last year it was $38. If it craps out I'll throw a TP in there until I can get something of better quality.

My 1st thought is butt wipe. But Duuuuuuuude don't use that.

How wide is a wraith axle from hex to hex?

TowerPro. Cheap, tough, reasonably strong.

If you pinch hard and quick there is nothing to wipe off.

Not sure on width. Wider than the AX/SCX axle for sure.

So how's the quality on those wheels? Do they keep the same width as stock wraith wheels? I to have been eye'ing them for some time for my wraith also.

They are very nice. Easiest tire install ever. Not sure on the offset.

Had a nice quiet Sunday and decided to get it buttoned up.

Project box in the back to hold the esc and bec.

Battery and rx up front.

There is still a short list of things to do...wire up the lights, make a new light bar, etc. There is also a somewhat larger list of mods I want to do. Things I haven't seen anyone do yet. Stay tuned for that.

Got to take it on its maiden voyage...made it 10 ft at wot before turtling it.

These things are hard to drive at speed. Gonna need a sway bar I think...

Otherwise, its a blast. May take it to my old crawling grounds tommorow and see how it does there.

I drove a crazy fast wraith at nationals this year. Exo Trans, SC motor, rear sway bar and good shocks. Short course bashing speeds, it handled awesome. I couldn't keep it on all 4's but the builder could, wraith drifting style.

Not really interested in crazy fast...have sc trucks and a late model for that kind of stuff.

Currently I'm running a tacon 2200kv 3650 on 3s. Cheap, solid, reliable and torquey. Crawls so-so. When my 32p spurs get here I plan to pull the GForce 2200kv 3660 4pole out of my 4wd sc and see how it fairs.
