Yeah it has. Other things have been holing my attention. Going to spend some time making a new part for of tonight though.

Took it to town with me the other day and hit up a little spot at the city park. Jumping, hill climbing, crawling, everything but run it through the water. Had a blast. I was really impressed with its hill climbing abilities. Mash the gas and up it went.

Update on the shocks: Two packs worth of driving and they are showing signs of leaking.

On to my latest part! New axle link mount to raise the roll center a bit.

The other day I wanged my tie rod pretty good and bent it. Turns out there was enough room to stand it up and tuck it behind the servo horn. Just had to tweak the drag link a little for clearance.

Not sure what is coming next. Going to be a while before the ground is clear enough to drive it again. Lights maybe? I'm going to need a light bar for the top...

I like it! If it was about 1/4" taller and mounted the links about 1/2" farther apart it'd be perfect for my needs. Not that you care about MY needs, just saying.

Pretty much I 'spose. I was picturing a piece like you made today but taller and wider not an ax/scx d link screwed on there.

As an aside isn't it neat that the spacing on the link mount is close enough between ar60's and ax/scx axles to slap a D link on there? I run VP link/servo mount plates on a couple of my rigs. Makes life easy.

That was from something I offered up earlier this year. Basically a d-mount with an adapter. They were so-so. I don't think they'd stand up to a Wraith beating unless they were aluminum.

I thought it was neat until someone pointed out to me that they are off center by about 3mm. I ended up redesigning a mount specifically for them and had to ship out a half dozen or so for free to correct my oversight.

I found that offset the same way. The first VP plate I put on I used the same holes as the as/scx axle and noticed the offset later. On the second one I used another pair of holes that actually moved the plate rearward and centered it correctly. I just had to chamfer one of the holes since it was for the servo.

Started the morning off with a new, one piece servo mount. Didn't turn out exactly like I wanted, but it'll work just fine.

Should be starting on a light bar after lunch.

Not done until I'm out of material, skill, or ideas.

Light bar is done. Started with a pcb board full of led's. Forgot who I got them from, but they're bright. The enclosure is something I made earlier this year. Just needed a little freshening up.

Carved the mount out of 2mm aluminum.

Lighting up the garage via 3s power.

Just need to shoegoo the board in the case and wrap the wires in something black.

Sweet parts your grinding. Love it
I think he is just messing with us and all these "tester" axle mounts. He's probably already got something in the works.
