Upload took forever, but here it is. Like I said, it wasn't a huge difference, but it was a noticeable improvement in feel. How it carries the right front wheel, and how it wants to drive forward instead of pull the front end up are the things to pay attention to. It behaves a lot like my old shafty comp rig.

Also, the increased triangulation took most or all of the side-to-side movement out of the rear axle.

What are your thoughts of raising the upper rear links at the axle?

now go back and rerun your tests with the passenger side link all the way up, and the drivers side link in the middle hole.

It'll increase AS and pull the IC back. A little more separation might be good, don't know about height though. I've got the part here to make it happen.

I dont think these suspension setups can be adequately tested until a brushed or sensored motor is utilized. (just watched the video)

I've got a couple sets going out to testers within the next day or two, so there will be more than just my own feedback on these.

I'm also a bit impressed with the R35 tires. Even cold and wet they are doing pretty good.
To clarify, you're running diffs the way the kit manual says or opposite of the kit manual instructions?

Looking good so far!

Installed a 2200kv 550 4 pole, geared it 16/58 (all I had on hand for 32p) and before I could test it out properly my visiting nephews were begging to drive it. Off into the yard and onto the street it went with them driving like the throttle and brake was a light switch. Full speed, traction rolling corners with the hammer down through the grass, and wheelying launches/endoing stops on the asphalt.

Nothing broke.

Started more work on the 4 link/chassis braces this morning. Getting them prettied up and weighing less. Plain on the left, lightened in the middle, wtf on the right.

Goal for today: SCX10 rock rails.

Got some RPP Black Friday goodness in the mail today.

Mmmmmm.....VP. So nice you almost want to chew on them.

Also some shiny new shocks.

One of the kit shocks was sticking really bad and I wasn't sure why. Couldn't find any reason for it. I was sad to lose the dual rate pistons, but I can get some made for the GMade units if I really want them.

I hate paying through the nose for shocks, and these were decently priced so I thought I'd give them a shot.

Just a hair bit longer than stock, and while they look like big bores, they aren't that much bigger internally. The bodies are fat but the walls are super thick. Very smooth though. Delrin pistons and a 3.5mm shaft. If they don't end up puking fluid I may pick up another set for my sc truck.

Right now they are set up with the springs they came with, 4 hole pistons, and 30wt oil. Its a little flip-floppity, but I'll drive it some more before I make any changes to them.

Good info and theoretically makes sense, I thought about this before but not hard enough...got lots of tuning done but always more things to consider and adjust, thanks!

Thank you, diffs spinning opposite of kit instructions...looking at my setup again.

Your suspension link mounts and braces are looking sweet! I agree with previous post about one rear link higher at chassis than the other.

Yep, I just need to test that theory. Or, I could go peruze the threads of those that already have.

The kit tells you to install them one way, rtr's are installed the other way.

They are progressing. I mailed out a couple of test samples yesterday, we'll see how they do in the hands of others.
