The truck looks really good, the more I see the Ti links the more I want them. When my delrin links fail I will go Ti. Now I need to stop being so lazy and finish my XR, I should do it tonight, it isn't supposed to rain tomorow (first day in the forecast w/o rain for over 2 weeks). All this rain has made me very lazy and uninspired, I need some inspiration, I better start checkin out all the xr10 threads again.

Just a quick update: Finally got around to out boarding the rear links to the shock mounts and shaving to lower mounts off. It made an immediate difference on break overs and climbs. I'll get some pics posted tomorrow. Other than that the rig hasn't changed much at all. --- I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?jdlvgl |

It's been a while since an update here. Finally got around to re-building the rig with some new'ish y-town goodies. Also finally ditched the stock axial shocks for a set of 3.5" big bores I had laying around with silver mini-T springs. And she went on a serious diet, down from over 6lbs, to 4lbs 3/4oz, rtr. Just bench testing in the basement and without moving any weight around, she was walking up a 63 degree climb like it was flat... Sorry for the low quality pics, the ipad doesn't do well in low light... |
