Lookin good man, curious to see what it looks like w/ some skins. I like the carbon fiber too, it willl be a shame to cover it up w/ side panels, CF is just so purdy. I might do some traveling this year with my XR, I might head out to one of your local events.

Good choices !

You and Ryan , orr any/all of the WNYRCRC club members gotta make it down to Cleveland for a comp nite .....
You won't be disappointed !!! If ir gets to late or you guys can even plan on it , just stay at my house then leave in the morning . Always easier to drive 3 1/2 hours after you've slept , plus that my wife is an AWESOME FREAKIN COOK !!!

I'll talk to Ryan about this ASAP. I would love to crawl with you guys again! Unfortunly my truck is down until everything comes in, which could be a little bit of time.

I compared my servo to another XR10 that was running at the last comp, and the heat difference was minimal.

Regardless I'm going to the servo flip with this rebuild, with another potential great idea, we shall see though.

I've been sick for a good 5 days now, so I haven't been able to get much work done, despite having parts sitting here. No motivation or energy. Took two days but I managed to get my Sedona's mounted up on my new DHII's. This is a crappy teaser picture, but enjoy it for now.

Next its time for axle tear down. Traxxas bushings and VP motor plates.

Well this will still get built for the competitions I need to compete in, this project is otherwise on hold. Don't want to spend any more money right now.

So I finally tore apart the transmissions to put in my VP motor plates and Traxxas bushings. I never once had an issue with my truck, or gear clicking, but to my amazement, 2nd gear motor plate bearing was blown apart on the front and rear. :O Boy was I shocked. Install went smoothly otherwise.

Only problem I have now is I have a stripped out motor gear set screw. Grrr!!! E-Z-Out didn't work.

Ideas?

You can buy reverse rotation drill bits. They usually do the trick for me. Last resort would be to cut the gear off and get a new one.
