I'll see how the hold up at Motorama. If they do alright, I'll keep getting it in .015". If not I'll try the .030". Nothing but carbon fiber body panels for the rest of it's life.

Yes, that is REAL carbon fiber.

Looks like it came together real well for you. Loving the roof and hood panels, may think of something similar at some point. Keep working on the side panels, they aren't the home run you hit with the roof and hood.

Can't wait to hear more about your sedona's. I swear by em, but often run the rears in B direction What foams are you running in them?

Nova double deuces. Uncut standard soft / stiff combo. Always ran mine in A so far, although these are a completely different beast. Trial and error.

The side panels I'm going to redo. I'm very unhappy with them. I have an idea though I saw in flapjack's thread. I'm going to CA glue the CF to the cab from the inside so it's recessed. It should be a million times cleaner.

I like that idea and think it will look better, but it is unnecessary weight up top. With that clear side panel over the lower plates you are legal.

I know, but I like the bling factor, and my electronics are practically up in the cab portion, so some extra protection couldn't hurt.

I need to treat the edges of the lower chassis. The body panels I'm not concerned with. They'll be trashed so fast, its not worth wasting the CA glue.

Redid the side panels again. So much happier with them this time!!!! I think you'll agree. Gave her a proper photoshoot too.

Those panels are SEXY! Will you get any drive time on it before motorama? Or are you going in blind?

ughh, don't know yet. I won't know until John sends me a new ESC since my new one is dead on arrival. He's going to be next day airing it to me. If I'm lucky I'll get some practice in Wednesday. We're getting to Motorama early Friday so we can attend the practice session.

Not totally blind, but blind enough that I'm nervous. First time with dual ESC's. First time with new chassis. First time at a national event.

ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the esc is getting shipped today. It'll be in my hands tomorrow. Huge thanks to John for unbelievable customer service!!!

Tomorrow I'll get it installed and hopefully practice Wednesday night. That would make me feel a million times better.

The truck looks great. How do you like those Duratrax shocks? I have some I have been messing with and the travel on them is super smooth, a nice quality shock for sure, probably the best Duratrax product I have seen. I like the narrowed sedonas.

These shocks are great! Myself and raceaholic(who built them) are running them on our pro trucks. They are so smooth its unbelievable. They perform flawlessly. They do not leak. I couldn't be happier for $35 for the set. I'd recommend them.
