Yes friends i know, but i could't found time last weeks. Without earning money i could't do my loved hobby. Hope i will find more time next weekend to make my rig compready and post some update. First comp for me this season will follow in 8 days. For 2015 now i changed my batteries to tattu/gensace. I like the performance the gave me some years before with the true c-rate they have! I also tested some others, but now i came back... If you want to see where they come from and how they made: http://youtu.be/No8SCwL9M5c http://youtu.be/XkigKl9k-fM They are available in europe and also in USA. Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk |

Yes i thought about and i now a lot of drivers in USA go that way, but now i go the way i have choosen. A good friend of mine who is specialised in in checking electronic did made a test in the past with some different lipos and his test said gensace are on top of the choosen one. Turnigy and hobby King he does't test because they are difficult to get in germany.

Hi Stephan, eyerybody has a favorite with the batteries. I testet on this time the lipos from Stefans Lipo Shop. They are good batteries, but left one year they lost capacity. Now im testing since 6 month Turningy and Zippy Compact Lipos. For the moment i am very satisfied. They habe a good size with 850mAh. The Problem with all lipos is, on comps we change the batteries after the kurs and dont run the lipo empty.... Last edited by efdeluxe; 04-18-2015 at 06:17 AM. |

I like the Gens Ace and Turnigy batteries. My Turnigys were smaller dimensions with same MAH capacity. I run both!! Good luck with the comp Stephan! We have our 7th comp tomorrow of our season and BDN won his first comp last month! Lets see if he can keep the title tomorrow |

I have read much information about Lipo treatment that is published by electric helicopter enthusiasts and they are extremely conservative and passionate about caring for their batteries. I have always had good success with Lipos and still have batteries that are in good shape after 12 years. However, I never understood why I had some "poof" until I did some reading. In short, I learned that it is best to always keep them balanced, store them at 3. 8v per cell, never run them below 3.6v per cell if possible, and don't leave them empty or fully charged. Leaving them empty is a great way to make one poof! I have seen that first hand. Supposedly leaving them fully charged for extended periods will decrease the performance but I have to take someone's word for that. Anyways, even though these are pretty cheap and easy to replace, they still can give us better results if taken care of as they prefer.

...like always some days before a comp follow i made a "lady's day" and last sunday i went with my girlfriend to the zoo. Sometimes a little Bit boring but this time i wonder because i seems they also did make competion...and the bastards did't told me... Sorry, but i could't found time to i install the carbon motor plates. I did't know why, but i need so much time to make the rig really compready. Every comp the same - time is running to fast... But i found time to install some really awsome motorsaver i got at worlds from Mr. Winner. Test followed and i also took time to drove some little test courses. The Savers hold and slide perfect, but i did't know if i have to fix that parts to have no issues. Perhaps troy could answer. Tomorrow it will be very intersting to see how good my performance at the first comp will be and how much training is to do before the next bigger comps will follow. The best drivers from germany will be there. Round about 20+...only 5 hours than i have to stand up... Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk |

Yesterday we did have our first outdoorcomp and ended up with 3th from 20 drivers. Normally it's not a bad result but the 3th was not really saved and i also did have planed to win. The 4th efedeluxe/David where only over 5 minutes slower, but he did have the same points like me. One point left to the 2th and 11 to the 1th. Yesterday i was very nervous and did make not a good job on course. First course was more than easy i went with one reverse and -19(no bonus on course) and 3.30 minutes resttime. Before i started at the second one i recogniced that all drivers on all four courses did have only some reverses. The problem was they have to build courses for pro and shafty because to much drivers to go extra courses for shafty. That's the reason because they have to be very easy and with no technical gates. Good to have only DNF for some drivers but that point makes me a lot more nervous than normal. Than i started at the second one and the desaster began. I pushed one gate at eight and after that i was so angry about myself that i have problems to clear the only one bonus gate(Special high clearence gate with -5 points) and i did have a lot of reverses before the clear. Gate ten i also could't clear(don't ask me why) and i have to touch one gate before i ended with DNF...result was a bad +10! After that nice course i ended at the 3th with - 15. I got two Bonus(-5 points each) but i touched one gate because it was also a high clearence one. Last of the four courses i ended perfect with two Bonus and -30. After a little break they built two courses for only pro. Much more tricky and more technical. Now my time was come and i ended first with - 15(one bonus) and second with -16(no Bonus). Second one was very hard to went from 3 to four and only two others could do without taking the 20 points rule. I wishes to make some more of that type of courses but end was come... I recogniced one time more, that i like it more fast and technical. Neverthless it's only my personal preference and have to say big thanks to the orga and specially David for all the work he and others have done!!! Normally i would't start at supercrawl, because they are not so much international drivers there and i like the old location more than the new one, but now i changed my thinking and i will be there in some weeks. The thinking about to go to Nordics is now gone, because they are to close together. At the end i have to say that my new parts like the CF-motorguards and gensace lipos worked perfect and no issue!! Great driving with the Remedy, Stephan! No problems with the guards. Yours are cut to for the motor perfectly.. Only fix I see, you have the wrong guards on the XR axle's.. :/ The separation, should be hidden by the axle. Them guards are for Berg axle motor mounting. XR and bulky2's are alike. Each set of guards is cut per axle type and motor spec's, for perfect visual eye candy! ;) |

Thanks Troy! Last evening before the comp i tryed the other set i got from you and also looked into the other builds with your guards, but i could't found my extra light(4.24g each) version pictured. Now i went with the berg version on the XR axles, but it doesn't matter because they also match good with my old 400' puller's on XR. Perhaps i will change the guards, perhaps i will build a second rig with berg axles(like my plane when i ordered) and then i could install my XR's guards there Last edited by ZZR 1100 Racer; 04-28-2015 at 01:43 PM. |
