Anyone have a date on when the info will be out on these so us preorder people have an idea of what we need to start ordering now? It's been a week. Idk I love axial but this release is kinda being drug on a bit.

Was the esc set with Fwd-brake-reverse? Or was it set with forward and instant reverse like a crawler setup? Can it be programmed to operate in whichever mode you want?

| Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 It's listed in the option Hop-ups right below the selectable air locker... You have to buy them together unfortunately otherwise like you said, "Can't have a cutting brake with a locked diff anyway". |

Hey whatever man Quote:
It's a brushless esc, they pretty much all are programmable. I'm gonna put all my chips in and say (completely unconfirmed), yes to your question based on the first sentence /\ about being brushless. It's a $400.00 car, I'm sure the esc is going to be worthy and have some great features. Edit: I just googled Vangaurd Programmable as seen in Badgers pics which were linked on the first post / page of this thread. My search turned up the Vangaurd AE3 which essentially a castle product and therefore easily programmed via field link or whatever. Unless its been updated or changed, below are the specs cut n pasted in regarding your question on brake / reverse functionality. Hope that helps. • Compatible with brushed or brushless motors (Set-up for brushless from the factory) AE-3 Vanguard ESC Programmable Features: • Brake/Reverse Type – sets ESC’s reverse mode, and how it is applied. Reverse can also be disabled. • Brake Amount – sets the percentage of braking power at full brake. Low-grip surfaces will require less braking power to stay in control, especially when entering corners. • Reverse Amount – sets the percentage of power applied when reversing, if reverse mode is enabled. Lower percentage for less speed, higher percentage for more speed. Thumbs up. Last edited by rockhugger; 06-23-2014 at 10:21 PM. | |

Man this thing looks better the more I look at it. Just took some time looking at the chassis and wow, superb design! Brandon and the boys at Axial you have really outdone yourself. Look how compact everything is yet how easy it is to get to. I love those rear trailing arms and it does look like they're ready for dual shocks out back for those inclined. I haven't been this stocked in a while for a rig! Great job on the video too Badger, some top notch editing there. Really shows the rig off well. |

Thanks for trying to answer my question but before coming off like that and giving me a hard time read, think, then write please. I was asking about a parts spec sheet not a release date. Thanks for your help!!!

Right, I saw a picture of the 2.2 ifd wheels and they came with the same hubs as the trailready beadlocks, and I doubt they made a new mold just for some added durability. When you think of the surface area of the pins vs a hex there is tremendously more area for the force to be spread with a hex. And with these big soft relatively heavy wheels and the speeds associated with a 4 pole brushless system, it seems irresponsible to put such a defined weak link in such a prominent position. Why they chose to make a pin drive hex in the first place blows my mind too (insert my previously posted deer gif that somebody took down, probably in good taste) Most people won't say a word of it, and will happily shell out the cash for some vanquish hubs, but it bothers me. /latenight rant off |

hmmm a little metal pin in the plastic hubs... that would be the same as a little metal pin in a plasic 12mm hex, if using VP hubs, its stil a little metal pin in the hex that the VP hubs sits on ... JP Out |

So one the esc it's only rated for 2s with a 3150kv motor and u guys were running 3s. Were u running a external bec or did they put that number on there to save them. I know not many will prob run 2s so are we overpowering it right out of the box?

Does anyone know what weight shock oil it comes with? I really need to know that before I preorder.
