Nice attention to detail from axial on these parts, think the motor plate will be a must have for the high powered motors that the Yeti can accommodate.

The machines F1 blocks installed, really fit better than the stock set up and proper angles achieved (using the centered pin bushing).

Still hoping for a better pin than the stock screw pins though.

Hi guys,

Not sure if it's been mentioned here, but the Axial Exo front tower does fit, BUT, it doesn't have any mounting points for the body posts!!!!

Waste of cash right there. Grrrrr.

Brandon, can you or anyone else tell us which sway bar is stock in the Yeti?
The soft, med, or firm in this set, if its the soft one the others are useless IMO because the stocker is overly firm. I am hoping the stock is firm that would make the set worth buying for the soft and med tuning options.

I second this info.

I gave up on trying to find out and ended up filing a slot in the stock bar - so much better, totally forgot Brandon was on here.

Yeah I cannot believe this hasn't been covered. I have a cart full at tower that I plan to pull the trigger on today but I don't want to buy the swaybar set without knowing which ones stock, hell I may do it anyway.

Correct, the geometry is the same though. You could drill the holes and make it work.

I posted the Yeti specific shock tower on the first post:

Stock is 2.7mm

The sway bar set comes with the following:
2.7mm - Soft
3.0mm - Medium
3.2mm - Firm

Stock is the softest. I could looking into making some softer bars if the demand is there.

Well shit I gambled and lost, if stock is the softest the others are useless IMO.

How are you guys using your Yeti's? I'm just curious in what situation the stock swaybar is too stiff.

The stock swaybar handles the factory power plant really well. Naturally most customers throw more speed at anything that goes fast, so I made stiffer options.

I always assumed they would be thrown into the crawler category by some customers (this is RCC afterall). That's why its so easy to remove the swaybar from the rear cage with the pivots.

I was just hoping stock was the medium so that the option set allowed for tuning in either direction softer or stiffer, its all good.

Racing...basically one various surfaces (Grass, sand, gravel, even some tarmac). Not so much like a race track surface, but general surfaces. We don't have a U4 track yet so minimal rocks or crawling right now.

Until I filed the slot in my stock sway, I would lift a rear tire all the time in any cornering situation.

I honestly thought when it was stock it was so large just to handle the torque twist of the chassis, not for handling.

When you put a swaybar on an axle, that axle loses traction while the other gains traction. If you have a sway bar on and you go stiffer you lose traction on that axle and gain it at the other. If you go lighter sway you gain traction on that axle and lose it on the other axle.

You just got more bars to test filing on!

I do a lot of crawling with speed in between a lot like Ultra 4... I love the stock sway bar setup... Just enough articulation for my style if racing... Now to work out the torque twist lmao...

I still say well done!!!

I've been thinking the same thing. Releasing a new yeti xl and haven't even finished the 2 speed for the yeti.... A little frustrating.
