Holmes Hobbies Servo is dead
It is definitely not waterproof. Holmes says it is water resistant but it is not enough for running in rainy day.

I will try Savox 1210SG. It is not strongest but it is waterproof.

Savöx 1210SG ordered in local store. It should arrive in next couple of days.

I also changed my mind with new body. I do not like the Baja Bug body as there is not enough clearance for rear wheels - they will smash into the body and I cannot use wider wheel hubs (because of axle shafts bending).

I decided to get standard clear Yeti Body and will do my paintjob on this. But this is low priority now. First I need car in perfect running condition and once all problems will be solved, I will do the new body.

Second pack and this happened during one flipover on asphalt. I stepped up one level - not bending shafts anymore, Im breaking them and even with shorter wheel hubs!
This is Vanquish shaft. Have one replacement pair on hand and also CBRB titanium ones (saving them for later use). Everything else is holding wery well. No broken rod ends anymore...

Need to just install the creeper axles n go worry free my friend, I've punished mine... with the longest vp lockout and have yet to see a wobble. Yours with the shortys will be bomb proof.

I think it depends on total weight too. Mine is heavy. Around 5 kg.

Titanium shafts installed. Not a great fit. Very tight tolerances and I was unable to put inner C-ring on one side. There was no space left and I was hammering it like hell. Everything seems working well though. Now it is time to try to break titanium!

After my last ride there was problem with throttle and steering lagging and stuttering. I swapped receiver to rule this out, but it was still same. Then I suspected worst thing happened - ESC broken. I later swapped ESC to confirm this, but fortunately, problkem was not caused by faulty ESC Last piece that I left in the setup was Castle Link Quick Connect - and that was the fauty part! I just get it out from the rig, connected ESC directly to receiver and it works! Im very happy that it was not problem with ESC

And what was the cause of the problem? Try to guess... it was water again :-D Leaking under Quick Connect board isolation.

Im also waiting for lighting setup. Ordered HeyOK controller and some LEDs. Will put this together with new body.

So the solution for your water problem is one of two things:

1. Move RX to fuel cell and make sure it's properly sealed. May place inside of a balloon, too, just to add that extra level of protection.

2. No more water runs.

Glad to see you're no longer breaking rod ends at the rear axle, though. I still think you should consider ordering the DLux upper links to completely fix the issue, but totally up to you. I've never broken a rod end that way and I beat the shit out of my Yeti when I run it. I run a beefed up AR60 with Beef Tubes and a DLux G10 truss. Broke the carbon fiber truss due to my faulty mounting. I do bend the hell out of axle shafts, though! Have a new long side shaft going in as soon as I sit down and do the wrenching.

Great build, though!
