Cut off wheels are much more efficient.

Testing setup for lights. Without lights :-D Just checked with voltmeter and it works as expected.

Next on the list is some soldering!

Fair enough. If they were flush the cut offs work fine.

I have found the cheaper rotary tools seem to last longer.

Some mini loco bushings. Have 40 as I thought they are sold as one piece. No, one package contains 4 :-)

Rear lightbar ready for soldering...

I measured voltage on heyok outputs and it is 6.7 both for 2S and 3S pack. I used 150 ohm resistor for each two LEDs in series. Then each pair od LEDs is connected in parallel to power supply.

Thinking about getting Wraith once I finish my Yeti lights and body.
Or building second low-cost Yeti from leftover parts.

Blue Monkey rear trailing arms and upper links got shipped - finally after 15 days. But they state this on their site, that it will take two weeks to process order, so no surprise. Now it should arrive approx. in one week. I have to hurry with my lights and body so I can destroy whole thing again as Blue Monkeys came in :-D

I can now finish rear lights shortly - planning to add another four light buckets to accompany rear lightbar. It will be basically same wiring. After this I will put everything back together and destroy it!

Hope I will be able to do bodypaint soon. Im planning to do this for log time, but always break something and have to tear my Yeti apart to fix any damages and thus not doing bodypaint. I should not drive this thing for a while or I will never finish body :-D

To make it even harder, I want to create front body headlights. I already started prototyping custom made light buckets - will post some pics soon. My biggest challenge now is to came up with some good ideas on how to mount my headlights to body or chasis. Im thinking about gluing light buckets to lexan body. Buckets are made from hardened clear polystyrene. Need to glue this to polycarbonate body - hope it will hold well. Any ideas?
