Yep! It's a good thing. SSD DIAMOND CENTERED REAR AXLE FOR AXIAL WRAITH (GREY) CNC and tolerance excellent. If you want a great centered pumpkin diff, buy this. If you already have SLW hubs, this is perfect replacement for AR60 axle. |

What if I don't own a Yeti but I want that axle? Would you recommend it being worn as a necklace? |

| Re: SSD Rear Axle You will need 2 ea. 5x11x4mm bearings for axle ends. 2 ea. 10x15x4mm bearings for diff spool. Or use your old ones from AR60 axle. I'd replace w/new while apart. Face plate is your diff bearing holder. Good gears and spool if you don't already have is a nice upgrade, but not necessary. |

About to pull the trigger on one. I really hate the design of using these flimsy lockouts. Your design simply makes sense.

.Not saying anything is wrong with this one, but having a rear axle that matched the front width would be nice. SSD already makes lockouts and axles that extend the factory ar-60 to the same width of the front. Thought everyone knew that the front of the Yeti was wider than the rear, guess not. Ease up next time you try to bust someone's balls a little thought/research goes a long ways.

You realize why its narrower though right from a design and handling aspect? There is an important reason. I use offsets, VP currently, but still keep the rear narrower for that same reason. I'd give you the reason, but maybe you can put some thought/research into it. Though yes there was some talk in another SSD thread about having the wider widths, front axles, and other options coming down Last edited by binaryterror; 06-03-2015 at 09:52 AM. |
