Speaking of Dinkey Creek/Courtright area, there's a ton of stuff by the Dusy Ershim trail for 1:1 and RC. Ahhh, if only there was a scaled version of the Dusy. That would be cool.

Sounds like a trip is brewing...

Its snowing up there right now, and we will get tons more snow on friday it says. So maybe when things thaw out a bit we can head up into the Sierra.

All reports show tomorrow as the last day of rain. Saturday is supposed to be nice.

I am running a 10,11 combo with 45t motors. To be the same I think that stock 12s or 13s would put you in the right ballpark. Less teeth means slower but more torque, more teeth means faster and less torque. People often run 1 tooth bigger in the front for an overdrive effect . Too me its almost the same as the clodstall we see in the Redcats (and bitch about!). I will probably change mine to both 10s when I swap motors in a few weeks. I think I have 13s if you want them, but they might be hard to get your hands on, as I am out of town more or less for the next 3 weeks.

you'll need a 3 position 3 channel to work your dig...i've seen some crazy sales on here for dx3e (which is what I'm using) for around 50 bucks with rx. Or you can always go Larry's way and pick up a hacked Flysky GT3B from Losikid on here...i hear they are awesome for the price...

Yes indeed. The FS-GT3B works very well. For the price, it can't be beat.

The mud is a concern for me for Squaw, I don't walk all that great as it is, throw a little mud in the picture and I'm a one-man Keystone Cops episode. Would everyone be up for Friant instead?

You younger guys, just Google Keystone cops....

Say "where" and I should be able to make it for a bit.

I'll be bringing a box of swap meet parts.

Where exactly do you crawl in Friant?

Hoss, there's the broken bridge area right on Friant Road across from the Shell Gas station. Then there's the Millerton Rec area, but you have to pay 10 bucks to get in. Once you are in though, there are lots of great and wonderful areas to crawl on.

I'm down for the lake! I think the Day rec area is nice. You head left in Friant, go across the bridge, then make a right where the road splits, then follow the sign and make another right into the park.

What time?

Aw, hells bells. You guys are going to the lake.... I'll have to hit the next one. Really want to get out there after talking to Mitch about it.
