I am definitely planing on coming, but it is two weeks from the NAMBA Nationals. Right now I think I can do both, but I will have to see. Wheels and Groupie getting a camper? Cool looks deluxe, not like the Rolling Getto. I just got back from a trip to Phoenix, AZ. A 1500 mile round trip, no problems not bad for a 28 year old rig. Wish I could get my wife to come but she needs at least 2 hours a day of hiking to keep her intrest. |

Is there a definite date and is this thing still a go? I need a date to get time off work because vacation requests have to be in ASAP for May and June.

Dominate? You were fortunate enough to not have a breakdown at the last comp, but I dont know if dominate is the right word... ;) |

I will call the park and see what date the open. Who ever is the closest needs to confirm if they can scout some crawling areas for us soon. If no one will confirm and do the scouting then I will look into a road trip to scout before the event. |

damb i geuss i'm stuck to scouting one of these week ends. only about 60miles. i could try and get up there in april some time so the snow isnt so bad. if someone else close would want to come and scout it with me, talk so we could set up a date. maybe even a small crawl. |

Yeh me and mike are about 45 minutes away well probably go scout it out some time soon its realy fun up there I can already think of a few spots that would be great I go up there all the time snowboarding so ill try and look when I go up me and mike will probably go up soon so we will keep you updated and tell you if we have found any places to have a comp/ get toghther/ what ever. If there is a huge group of people there is a ski park up there i dont know if there is any rock crawling areas up there because ive only seen it when its covered in snow me and mike could call up there and ask if their facilaties could be used or if their available ( I know that they have events up there in the summer )we might have to pay but it would be perfect for a ton of people. if me and mike go and scout then we will go up there and have a look around it would be great if we could meet up with people go up there and split up on the mountain because its so frickin huge we might be able to find more posible areas to host this thing.

ya we will take plenty of pics when we go scout it. we will try to post some directions to the crawl spot from I-5 also. we were thinken to go up aroud mid april because of snow and mud. i was thinken that right were the old ski park was would be a perfect spot. there are plenty of rocks there, and its at pritty low elevation so the camp grounds wont be very far. the only concern in that area is turorists. it could be way pact so we will try to contact the camp ground soon and talk about reservations. what type of rocks do you all want. ill try and find a good large spot with terain for most crawlers. |
