If people ask for money back, give it back. Plain and simple. Unless they signed something stating that they were paying a NON-refundable deposit.

he overextended himself a number of times on here. looks like after each time he never learned his lesson, just kept taking ordered.

i ordered some stuff from him a couple years ago and it took like 5-6 months to get the order, the whole time i was being told that they were just about done or just finished and waiting for powder coat.

as far as i'm concerned his whole "business" has been nothing but excuses.

We have been in contact, I am ok with the situation. My "give a shit" meter for small things such as this runs eternally low.

My deal with JJ is a little different than others, no money changed hands... it was a my work for his work sorta thing. My work was done 5 months ago fyi.

my thoughts.....

I know how some believe that tube chassis are simple to make and you should be able to crank about three out a day- sometimes it feels that way for me too. You get a good run of chassis that seem to simply put themselves together. Then you start taking custom orders and everything seems to grind to a screeching halt. Getting tripped up just once seems to make everything 10x more difficult.

My look on it was simple: no pre orders, no custom work, no pressure. You want a chassis? good. I will let you know when the next one is done. Don't like it? good, don't buy it; the next person in line will. I will let you know when the next one is done, maybe you will like that one. So on a so fourth.

WoW!

I've been away for too long...

JJ,
I feel for your family & your problems!!! I really do!
I hope everything gets straightened out.

Most know; I've always been a JJ supporter.
Most times the turn around does take too long,
But I've NEVER been cheated (scammed) by Jason. Nor do I feel he would do that!
On that note;
If I wasn't in a hurry, I'd still purchase from him!

I'm still your boy!
Please take care of your customers buddy!
'tard

PS:
Chris from ETRC is still waiting for his Trail Beater

I just read through this whole thread and wow. I feel really bad for you all that have not rec your goods in a timely manner. I just wanted to say that I recently bought a chassis from DJ and rec it in less than a week. I hate to hear such bad feedback, cause the guy makes one hell of a chassis. Anyways good luck to everyone and hope you get your product!

I'm sorry to head about this DJ. I've been able to talk with you here, and there, and around. I know we've talked crawlers and we've had our fusses and things, overall you're a VERY good guy from my experience.

I understand money is tight for everyone..but whats a toy? If the money you sent him was your last dollar maybe you shouldn't spend it on an RC? I haven't sent anything too DJ, however, if I had I'd feel the same. At the moment he could use the money more than myself.

Bash me all you want.

I can also appreciate your family problems. Family always comes first!

For now keep the money I paid but do not proceed with the build.

Once things get normal and if all is well we can then proceed.

If not well then consider it an early Christmas gift...

With the sickness I'm sure you guys can use the money way more than I can use the crawler...

Besides, what the heck am I'm gonna do with another crawler anyway???

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Jones

Not expecting to get anything but, I would like to know what's going on these days...
