I have been a die hard comp guy since the days of the TLT's. I have seen the game grow and seen it decline. From what I have seen the select few who have been doing it as stated started families and just got too busy. Its like any other sport--it grows/declines and grows again--I have seen it happen over the course of like 7 years now. As for the highly competitive side and folks getting turned off--I have found a solution to that and thats be very active with your club members. Give them props and give them help because somebody who leaves happy from those around them are more eager to come back. |

i think alot had to do with the economy and funds. but the biggest problem i see is there is only 1 class! like racing there should be a Pro class for the top guys and a expert class for the up and coming guys. The ability of the rigs and drivers advanced so far over a 2-3 year span that it turned off new blood from joining due to them feeling they could not compete so why try. |
