Whine is right. Don't get me wrong. It's great. Just doesn't have that, make this thing do some work sound.

Funny, a friend shared this with me right after seeing the sound video

America

Made me want to go back and listen to that V10 again, and the very last notes on that V12

Yeah, sad. Manufacturers used to use resonance chambers on the intake side.

Too hard to fit em now.

I spent the greater part of the weekend watching the Daytona 24. Tommy Kendall made a remark about all the cars here (at Daytona) sounded better than the current F1 cars.

Well, old Group C cars sounded even better than the new stuff. Meh.

More importantly, Lotus unveiled their new Merc powered car.

Amazing the way they design all of the airflow, and that Merc isn't going the blown axle route. That Merc tranny mount though! And adding the aero to the cameras!

I nah! So pretty.

When the car is straight up fast as **** (pardon my language), you don't need crazy (awesome and insane) tricks like blowing axles. RB, Ferrari and McLaren all doing it. All on the back foot.

Got dang I can't wait for this season to start. Big time drivers changing around, Honda, new regs, more engine development. Aero tweaks. So good.

**** Alonso, whiny, crybaby, primadona, biotch...

Ok, fine, I admit he is not one of my favorite guys... but he is a hell of a driver. As are they all.

Second time tonight I HAD to call someone an ass.

Alonso is pretty much the best racer there is in the current lineup. And I would love to hear the arguments against that.

I won't argue with you, he is a phenomenal driver. I just don't like him. I guess I'm still bitter about how he acted back when he and Lewis were both with Maclaren.

I have liked Lewis since his karting years and Alonso acted a bit of a fool when he got out paced by a rookie.

Yes that was years ago now, guess I still hold a grudge... hahaha

You been watching Lewis since he was a kid? Weirdo.

HAM s good. Obviously. I'd like to see him in a seb, I mean sub par car.

Haha, my next door neighbor many years ago not only follows F1 but all the young prospects as well. He showed Lewis to me during one of his last karting years.

Nope, I'm not into young boys...

It would be interesting to see him run in a lesser car, but I have a feeling he has at least a couple more years at Merc. They seem happy with him, he seems happy there. And it is quite true, they do have a dominant car. At least last year!

And this year needs to start already so we can see who figured it out. From the looks of that video you posted earlier that had me mesmerized, it seems several of the teams have some cool shit going.

Who knows, maybe it's Ricciardo's year. He did just destroy Lewis' 2 year old record on Top Gear!
