You know what is funny about this whole "oust your dictator" uprising (in both Egypt and Libya)? The similarities that these situations share with Iraq. However, this one has the backing from the UN. I guess they get to pick and choose which murderous dictators they like and which need to go....

The difference is that this time it's the citizens of those countries tossing their leaders.

With the latest spike in oil prices, it's ironic that democratic revolutions are doing what Al Qaeda only wishes they could do, wreck the western economy.

Nope, it's the citizens that are making the stink.....other countries are the ones that are starting trade embargos, and, as in the case of the US, freezing some of the assets of those leaders and their regimes.

The UN "Food or Oil" (not to mention Oil in general) program. I guess Libya and Egypt haven't been paying for their seats.

US Presidents typically don't get thrown out of office when they suck, they get assassinated. I don't think I need to list those guys...but here's a hint...the last attempt was on a Republican.

Yeah, I re-re-edited my post and forgot to leave out the "or attempted assassination" thing. My bad. I fixed it.

And no, I'm not condoning assassinations, I'm just saying we skip right past the revolution hubub and get 'er done.

Did you guys hear about the Obama value meal and McDonalds?

You get to order whatever you want, and someone else gets to pay for it.

Good pic man, if it happens, it will be the begining of the end. Could you see the riots in the streets. It wouldnt be good, but maybe necesary.

Neither or the weapons I own have the power or caliber to kill a man without a whole lot of work and a great deal of time to do it in. I'd have better luck beating someone with a garden hose.

Since you from Arkansas I feel compelled to remind you to watch the whiplash and NOT to hit yourself with the hose..

Yeah I learned that one the hard way. It also helps to remove the lawn sprinkler too...those things will knock you for a loop.
