Really got my but kicked by weather on the trail Sunday so i went out and got revenge on it today. The ltc is a great winter bike with its slack hta and (relatively) longer chain stays. Plus it's nice to have the long travel to plow over every thing under the snow. Ride was about 10 degrees F toady. Damn camel back tube kept freezing up.

Had a blast today riding with my son at the Alsea Trail system riding the full loop. Tell you what being out of shape made 1600' of elevation gain suck lol. Thanks to my son stopping fast in front of a 4' drop I did a front flip due to stopping fast an a big root to the bottom ripping a huge hole in my endura waterproof pants . Overall we had a blast and hurt like hell. Can't wait until next weekend when I bring home an aluminum version of my spartan for him.

Yes indeed, I've had many good crashes there. Never crawled there, but it's gotta be a great spot!

Yeah, I've taken a couple of dirt samples out there. And that was when it was moon dust and you would find some hiding in your crack a week or two later. The Hostile RC guys go out there every once in awhile.

Got out on the bike for the first time in a while yesterday. Decided to take the single speed, and boy did I suffer for it, been entirely too lazy as of late. It was a gorgeous day here though, shorts weather in January is very rare.

The weather has been crap for riding in ohio. But thought this thread needed a bump.

Hopefully the mtb trails will dry out or freeze soon.

I feel you. Our trails currently resemble a swamp. I'm use to getting some riding in during the winter, so I've been going crazy since the trails have been terrible this year.

^^THIS! I've ridden once since Christmas. When it dries up, I'm trapped at work, when I'm free, it's a quagmire.

They combined with Cycle Sport with is a small biking store in Chico because the owner of A Main also rides for Cycle Sport.
