I figured I'd probably get a lot of that after that comment.

You as a food connoisseur should know better though. Their processed excuse for a burger is one thing but shaping processed junk to look like a set of ribs is putrid.

Wait. You're telling me they just don't cut and slide the bone out of the rack of ribs and then put it on the bun.

What is happening in this world.

Those jobs are meant to be stepping stones to get people through SCHOOL while obtaining an education, it is not meant to be a career unless it is management of a location. We start paying more money for this kind of work then we give into the fact that we are fine and dandy with the status quo and that we are fine continuously falling behind the rest of the world world.

Don't get me wrong, I understand it's hard to survive on minimum wage but that is why these kids need to realize an education is important and they need to take it seriously. Not aide their laziness and the cost of living up for the rest of us. If Facebook paid .01 net for everytime they check their page a day they would all be millionaires!

This mindset is driven from an "entitlement" perspective, there's too much of it and not enough doing something about it.

They get double the pay, I WANT DOUBLE THE PAY!

That is an idealistic view of minimum wage jobs. It doesn't hold up to the complexities of the real world though. Not to mention that the cost of living has been outpacing minimum wage for years...

It's actually a perfectly REALISTIC view of min wage jobs. The entitlement mindset is what's going to send this country down the tube.

The whole country is based on capitalism and that doesn't mean thinking sweeping floors is going to get you ahead in life. Just because that's the only effort some people are willing to put forth in life doesn't mean they should get special attention.

If only we could all win the lottery then no one would complain...
