Our LHS & track system up a Stock Spec Slash class...guess I'll be getting into that now.To 'save' money, instead of buying the VXL RTR, I decided to buy the kit (which contains brushed electronics), and use all the original VXL electronics from my Rustler 4x4. Rules at the local track specify stock ESC & motor, and stock wheels/tires. LCG chassis conversion is allowed, are are alternate bodies...as long as they're for the 2WD Slash. Then, as for the brushed electronics that camera in the Slash kit, those I will be giving to my stepdad, to be installed in the Tamiya TT-02 kit.

Kids play musical chairs. Adults play musical electronics.

Thumbs up Re: Pics of your latest purchase

I picked up the re-released Tamiya Blackfoot kit from my LHS. Here's a stock pic of the box. I'm looking forward to putting this together. It'll be my first kit since my scx10 ii and first Tamiya RC.

Enjoy it. Just built my first Tamiya (TT-02), and I can tell you, they are, simultaneously, one of the hardest, yet also easiest, kits to build. You'll understand soon.

2020 Wright ZK 52" Stander w/ 37hp EFI Vanguard. Great investment for our company and will run great along side the Vride. Got it shipped from Washington for $11,300 out the door. Add $1000 for shipping and its still cheaper than buying one from an on island dealer. (Almost $16k) Yes, supporting local is better, but for that much more we would be wasting money. Plus we bought from a small dealer in WA

We've put 14 hours on it the past 3 days and love it so far! I favor it over the Vride II. its so much more stable on hills and feels safer. (Not to say the Vride doesn't, its a great machine as well!)

Picked up some Exotek carbon fiber shock towers for an E-buggy Lite conversion I started a while back, but never finished. Time to finish it, and get it on the track. Also picked up a few water blocks for a Castle XLX2, to turn those incredible ESCs into marine (FE boat) ESCs.
Huge thanks to Tyler (aka RaceMechanix) for designing them, and to StumpFab for them. As you can see, the machining is super clean, and the water channel is about as good as it gets (do they come even better?).

2nd set of these. Love building them. Putting Hyrax's on em and they'll be my nice set for my HPI Venture.

Although, technically, the purchase was arranged a months ago, it took that month to pay it off, have it shipped, and then delivered. And now, the newest addition to the boat collection - a P-Sport hydro - is ready to get wet.
